Anyone noticed deliveries from China getting any slower? I have a delivery from a supplier I have used many times, sent on Nov 24th and still not arrived. I am not going to name the supplier just yet as I am still within the "25 working days for air" time limit and previously they have been very good. However when contacting them about the problems I got a fairly dismissive reply and it looks as if I am going to have to fight to get my stuff.

Just wondering if anyone else is having problems.

The last I ordered from China (not Beci), it was held up 4 days at US customs. I could tell they had gone through the package too as everything was unpacked in there. I have never had this problem with bestecigs and just put another order in there today. Hope that's not the company you're talking about!

my S/Ds going to the US sit somewhere for anything up to three weeks..

two days to get to the US.. totally random after that.. five days to three weeks.. they are not opened or interfered with in any way..

i have shipped enough there to know.. shipping to the US is lousy.. things get to austrailia in less than half the time..

dont read any more into delays than the fact US customs dont give a sh-t how long it takes stuff to move thru whatever it has to move thru..

trog

ps.. our stuff arrives as it should pete..

I opted for the cheap 7-10 day delivery for my last order from China. I figured it should be EMS. No issues at all as it reached me in 7 days. Not worth it to pay so much more for a few days earlier imo, unless its really urgent like for a gift or something.

I have ordered many things from China ranging from tea leaves to toys and have rarely faced a delay. Correct me if i'm wrong but does the supplier have control over shipping? I know that if I send something, its usually in the hands of the shipping company/ service after I hand it to them.

this might sound very odd.. but normail airmail from china is quicker than the expensive express option.. at least to the UK it is..

i have just received an email saying shipped from DX.. i expect it before Christmas.. in hong kong on one day.. drops thru my letter box two days later.. this isnt one offs.. its normal.. it quite clearly comes off the airplane and into the postie van.. no customs.. express take two or three day to go thru customs..

becis packaging is magic... a bloody great bubble wrapped lump.. kick it like a football with not the vaguest idea of whats in it.. he he he..

trog

ps.. america.. jeesh what a f-cking disaster.. anything from a week to a month to get where its going.. i repeat.. jeesh america what a f-cking disaster..

I'm just a bit p*ssed at the attitude of the seller. The delivery is lost, posted on 24th Nov and still not arrived in the UK? What kind of plane do they use? He has taken to ignoring my emails now so the time to name and shame is approaching. I'm afraid many of you may be surprised at who it is. I will wait until the end of the stated delivery time and give him a chance to refund my money before naming, another one off the Christmas card list:(:(

You should probably name but not shame them now itself. What if some other poor guy falls prey again?

probably the same kind of plane that they use to get S/D from the UK to the customer a couple of days ago that were posted on the 17th of november..

let me guess at wayne.. i am able to see things from the other side thow now..

a small amount of S/D sales generates tons of email.. i now spend hours each day answering emails..

how the hell a chinese power seller copes with all this i cant imagine..

tell a lie.. i can.. he dosnt answer most of them and has a stock form answer for those he does..

if i was to say one screwdriver sale to one certain guy generated thirty f-cking email.. would u believe me.. ???

automated click a button selling systems fall flat on their .... when the customer is allowed to send and expect answer to.. emails..

it quite simply cant be done.. click click get the item.. mostly it works.. wayne answers emails.. he is probably now being overwhelmed by them..

if my guess is wrong think of some other chinese or local seller.. they really dont have the time to answer emails.. most of them totally unneeded..

the needed ones get buggered up by the mass of.. "just wondered if u have shipped my thingy yet" type ones..

i suppose the seller could employ people just to answer emails and use other deterrent methods like say DX does..

but the bottom line is.. buying from china works "mostly".. when it dosnt just dont expect personal attention from the seller cos however well intentioned.. the poor sod just dosnt have the time to cope with it..

the chinese seller is at the mercy of the postal system.. perhaps late deliveries get greater at this time of year and so do the emails..

I put an order into Beci last night. He wrote and said it was Sunday there so it would be sent out today. When he sends it, he gives me a tracking #. He does send it EMS. All my past orders from them have taken 3 days to get to US customs, a day there, then it's at my post office the following day. Hopefully the same will be true this time.

True enough, though, I have not been so lucky with other Chinese shipments. Some will say they will take 2 weeks to get. But one of the worst was a package from the UK. Holy Christ! Thought I'd die before that thing came! And the Royal Air tracking # gave me nothing but "your package was released to the US for shipping"...or something like that :-x

I won't name as they are within their delivery terms, just. I am getting angry because of the offhand replies, and now ignoring me. Yes I'm sure they are very busy but please provide the service. At least have the common decency to answer emails. I have sent three over the space of two weeks, not excessive. The first one was answered, the other two ignored. I think his other deliveries are getting through, so a simple case of a missing parcel. Not his fault but it is his responsibility. Ignoring customers is not the way to build your business.

When the delivery date is passed I will email one more time, if that is unanswered, it is the credit card chargeback and I will name and shame.

I'm just getting fed up with some sellers poor service, others can manage it, why can't they?

I will say the the company involved is NOT Bestecig. All my orders from Beci have come on time, the only exception was a hold up in UK customs, even that was only a week.
