A .223, at the base, is about 3/8" in diameter. I'm not familiar with a 7mm/08, but I'm guessing it's in the same size class. I'll wait until I have a Vamo in my hand before I cut anything down for a button add-on though.
I will dissapoint you but i believe i'm just a regular idiot! We would listen to you Kon... you're an expert on this sort of thing!![]()
Miliseconds?? No way. These fuses take time, the resetable one takes quite some time. It won't protect you against high voltage spikes. Only long short circuits. Same goes for the one time fuse, but i believe it will react a bit faster. The VapeSafe may be a good idea for basic style devices that use 18/16series batteries. The newer versions of devices, with VV and or VW capabilities all seem to come with both over current shut down as well as protection from devices with too low a resistance, sort of a marginal overload, condition. Even so, it can provide an extra layer of protection. I do wonder what the response time of it is, in terms of milliseconds. If it is really "fast" it could also, potentially, protect the electronics of the vaping device as well, but it would need to be extremely fast as in microseconds.
Speaking of saving, you know that line so many people have about how much they saved not buying analogs? I wonder how it equals out when you think of what that same person spends on vaping paraphernalia. I think a conservative person might still get off more cheaply, but an extravagant person wouldn't. Has anyone calculated this for themselves, or do we all just not want to know?
I don't want to calculate... ignorance sometimes is bliss!![]()
Yeah, I track my vaping expenditures in a spreadsheet and watch my "saved" number in my signature here. I keep closing the gap, then something else comes along and sets the numbers askew yet again. Every time it happens I say that I won't need to order anything, a liter of nicotine, liter of VG and PG, 40 bottle of flavors, lots of batteries, lots of CE3s, lots of T3s and so on. Then the CE3s start to wear out and I worry about the FDA again and there go the numbers one more time. It's a vicious cycle.
I have a iphone free app called VapeMate. At this very moment, it says that I used to spend 61.50 on cigarettes per week and the cost of vaping is 128.26
I'm not saving any money. But it's nice to see the app counting backwards on those days I don't submit an order!
The tradeoff for me is... improved health, not having to dump ashtrays from the car or house and most importantly to me is no second hand smoke around my grandkids or my husband OR Spanky. I also hated the taste of cigarettes but couldn't give them up until I started vaping. It is costing me a bunch but I look at it as an investment.
I will dissapoint you but i believe i'm just a regular idiot!

is that it does not make a diference with professional mods especially with protection circuits, however home made mods could be a different story.
Wabbit is back for a bit mates. Took a pic of the Vamo with an SI carto and Cone. Evidently with the adapter I can use all of my SI products with this device.
