Well for me it is. I did have trouble at first. But with patience. I finally did it. and then did another and another. Now I have no trouble at all.

Tink is knit spelled backwards. So forward is knit....backward is tink. I didn't think it up. Its language the knitters use.
Oh yeah, that seems easy alright. mesh and wraps and guages. I think I won't be rebuilding any coils any time soon
Yeah....wish I understood all that. I read and watch videos and read some more. I've learned alot, but still basically lost when they talk like that. I wish I had someone around that did stuff like that. I'd love to learn how to fix my own stuff.

This is the tank I got. You can order it with a fill hole, and pyrex. Hence easier to fill.

Wow, that looks so space age. Is it easy to fill? They don't seem to have a photo of one with a fill hole. Is the fill hole on the side or the top?
The fill hole is on top and you have to use a syringe. Very Easy. I see if i can find a picture.

I have a pattern I bought of a beautiful sweater coat I want to do. Have to get up the money for all the yarn....and then...like wow, it will take alot of time and concentration.....
Someday....this is what I am going to make.

That is really beautiful! I love the patterns on the back. Would you do it in red as pictured? If not, what color? I think it might look good in lots of different colors. All those patterns look complicated. Do you know all the different stitches? You could always practice them while saving up. I assume you have some leftover yarn you could play around with. If not, around here, I've seen yarn scraps at yard sales that if you find some, might be a worthwhile investment for practice pieces.

And you can't do it with just any yarn...the weight and drape matter. A wool is more forgiving because you could wet it and stretch it if its a little small. Acrylic you can't....what you get is what you get. Real wool is warmer, too....but more expensive.
And darn it I said I wasn't spending money on vape stuff and MFS just sent an email that there is free shipping from now til midnight tomorrow (code is FREESHIP02 if you don't get their emails and you're interested). So I bought some flavors.

With crocheting -- and I think it's the same with knitting -- there's a gauge, so many stitches per inch, to get it to the correct size. What I did when crocheting clothing that had to fit was get the recommended yarn in the recommended amount and then a little extra, and then try to get the gauge by changing the size of the hook (in your case, the needles) to make it fit. Then, when you have that figured out, you have to keep the tension consistent so the gauge stays the same. If you start out knitting tightly and then your stitches loosen as you get into it, that won't work. It took some practice to keep the tension consistent, but that's what makes things fit. As I said, I don't sew, yet I could crochet stuff that fit. I never tried sewing in sleeves or anything, but I made a vest and some baby clothes and a shawl and a beret, plus a couple of afghans and those snowflakes. And I made some hair ties that were really easy, so they don't really count. Since it's a loose coat, why not try to make it a little larger. That way, it can be sort of loose on you or fairly snug, but it'll still fit. Here I am offering advice! But I think that's the tactic I'd use if I were going to do it.
Here's a photo that I hope will make everyone laugh. I was driving someplace and spotted this and had to pull over to get a picture. It was in the front yard of some company, with the company's name painted on it, so I think it's very good advertising, since it's so eye-catching.
