At least your life isn't boring, Debra!

Lizzie, you've got to post some photos of the pen when you get it set up! I renamed your basic tobacco mix to RL4, love that stuff!

Which tobacco flavor do you use? I have the Asian RY4 ordered from Wizard Labs and plan to try that one first. But I forgot to order caramel flavoring.....I was trying to hurry with my order before they ran out of the nic juice I was ordering. There are other flavors I want to get too, guess I need to order them somewhere else right now.

I use Lizzie's mixture, well with a slight variation. 4% Virginia Fire Cured, 5% Ethyl Maltol, 1% Tobacco Absolute and, in my case, 5% Caramel Cappuccino. I let it steep for 10 days, minimum, and it's great. I have substituted English Tobacco for the Virginia Fire Cured but don't like that quite as much. I may do a batch with 2% Virginia Fire Cured and 2% English Tobacco. If WL ever gets going again, I want to try it with Honey Tobacco as well.

Done with stacking the big logs and cleaned up all the small branches and twigs. I've still got to get out there with a shovel and fill in the holes the big branches left when it hit the ground. Then get the guy rope up in the next one. Just finishing walking Bo and lunch, then back at it.

Good morning/afternoon Volties. I just got back from a very interesting walk with Spanky. It's kind of overcast windy cool today and we were walking near a rather large tree, Spanky was taking his time sniffing around the base of it. I sort of dragged him away to continue our walk when all of a sudden, a very large branch came crashing down right where we were. We were still close enough that one of the tiny branches scraped the back of my coat, that's how close we were. Needless to say, it scared the stew beans out of me! I walked back to it and couldn't even lift it. Well... all I can say is Thank God because I don't believe I would be here now to tell you about my experience. Sooo close but far enough away....

I'd love that as summer trip and would definitely take along a .44 magnum and a 30-06 just to be safe.

Of course! Americans without guns is like cheesecake without.... Cheese :D :D :D

Just woke up, i was fighting about batteries with some stupid idiots on a Greek vaping forum. Seems that they remain stupid even if you pass them valuable info.
One Guy says Li-Mn Batteries are not Li-Ion......

Konstantine, that's bear territory, brown bears, black bears and grizzly bears. All can be very dangerous, but grizzlies are particularly smart and often hunt in pairs with one acting as the distraction for the other to attack. Going into an area with large, 300 pound an up, clawed, fanged, meat eating predators is just common sense, not a romance with guns.

As far as the guy who doesn't understand ion transfer technology, ask him for the periodic table symbol or the chemical composition of an ion. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him do water ballet.

Thanks, awsum!

I want to get more tobacco flavors anyway, so I'll try your recipe and use the RY4 in Lizzie's recipe. I liked the sound of caramel cappuccino in a tobacco eliquid. If the tobacco recipes turn out as good as Lizzie's Cinnamon Danish I'll be thrilled.

Hey....congrats on the job you did with that big tree. Impressive!

Or you can put a suit on your goat, but it will still be a goat. :D

Our expression over here is "You can put lipstick on a Pig, but it will still be a Pig"

I also made some business cards to hand out on my vacation so I don't have to explain what the heck is that thing?

I'm so glad you decided to walk away when you did! What an experience! Did you get a weird feeling and decide to walk on, or were you just bored with Spanky taking too long sniffing at one spot?

I'm an American w/o a gun. I'm sort of scared of them, actually. I've fired guns a few times, but it was never a pleasant experience. Too noisy. Scary. I can't hit the target. Frustrating.

When I moved to this area, where there's lots of hunting, hearing gunfire used to upset me, but now I'm used to it. I guess I got that from living in places where hearing gunfire meant serious trouble, not someone pursuing their sport.

Usually I let him take his time sniffing around a tree, especially since we didn't walk yesterday. I'm not sure what feeling I got but I did pull him away to continue along... maybe a little angel whispered in my ear? Not sure but I'm just glad we moved when we did. No one else was out at the time so if we got smooshed, I guess we would still be laying there.

Another cheesecake without cheese here too. No guns in my house and my hubby is a retired police officer.

Whatever it was, I'm sure glad you moved on when you did. Those kinds of close calls can leave you shaking for a long time afterward.
