I like facebook primarily to keep up with family. The younger generation uses it profusely and literally live out loud on facebook which is good because I get to see pictures and posts of all the new grand nephews and nieces. My family is spread out all over the country and I probably wouldn't even see them otherwise so it works for me.

Also, CASAA is there and posts up to the minute goings on with the bans and petitions and calls to action. Then there are the ecig suppliers that post regularly and they typically post to facebook before anywhere else. They also post fb only coupon codes. There's 2 groups for ecig sales, codes, and contests.

If someone I am friends with starts posting stuff that offends me, I just unsubscribe from them instead of de-friending leaving my feed showing only things I like to see.

Different strokes...

Sitting down, facing forward.
Laundry is done, Bo has been walked, two CE3s rebuilt and working flawlessly, just grabbing lunch at the moment. It was nice here yesterday, in the 50's but it's only up to 43 right now and the wind is really blowing making it feel a lot colder. The hogs and cattle cans starve and the back 400 can wait a while, LOL. Given the temps and the wind I think I'll let the raking go until tomorrow and just mix some base and liquids this afternoon. I do want to get a few photos of a little project I did and get them posted as well.

Rabbit, I've though about a wind turbine as well, al little bigger than 1 or 2 KW, more like 4 or 5 KW. The size of those things is kind of big, although I have seen some that use more of a turbine blade that spins around the mounting pole instead of a giant propeller blade. They're supposed to be quieter as well.

I still may build the solar collectors, depending on cost effectiveness. That would let me control quality very carefully and another nickname I have is Mr. Overdo, think Clark Griswald's Christmas lighting project. Beside that, I do like to tinker and I found some good plans and methods for building solar collectors for water systems. It all depends on the economies, both cash on hand and rebates.

Given the wonderful history of security on FaceBook, I'll take a pass.

Another little project I did. I got tired of my vaping devices scattered around my end table and getting knocked over or knocked onto the floor. Two hardwood plinths, a little glue, some holes, some stain and some polyurethane and I even added felt feet on the bottom.

In the forefront is my Vamo with a Vivi Nova. Second row, left to right, X2-650 with a T3, 78mm with a CE3, iTaste VV V2 with a Tidy Tank. Back row is 18350, 18650, 18350. Don't want to run out of batteries.

Wow! Nice enclosure. If I was a horse I think I would like that, but alas I am a Wabbit and need a smaller fence to keep me in

Mrs. Wabbit and I had to make a night time trip to Richmond Virginia because my youngest grandson has pink eye, can't go to daycare and both parents have important things to do at work so they can't stay homej. We did not plan to go until the weekend. I always take my netbook to stay in touch with everyone and Mrs. Wabbit cannot be without Facebook and email for over 12 hours. What a connected world we live in.

Pink eye. The wonderful sharing disease of the Philippines! I was stationed in a remote island in the middle of the Indian Ocean called Diego Garcia. The nearest place to go for vacation was the Philippines (by air of course). The gentlemen would go there and contract Pink Eye and then come back and touch all of the phones, patch cords and such that the girls would end up getting it. I think I had Pink Eye twice in one year because of that! Hope the little one gets over it quickly.

Here is in his new round pen. First he rolled and then he ran. Did a little kicking up of his heels but I couldn't get the camera to take a picture fast enough to catch him in the act:)

He thought the new gate was very scary but I took him in and out several times and he now is more relaxed about that.

We relaxed together and walked around the pen a bit.

He came over to me when called after we had been in the pen for about 20 minutes. Hooked up his lead and took him for a walk around the yard. Hubby took him out a second time to play with him in the pen. Very cute.

Nice looking pen Lizzie! I'm sure Wiseguy will get used to it and be kicking his heels up in it!

There is so little grass out there that it won't last long anyway. My bigger problem is the shrubbery. There are purple smoke bushes and greasewood out there. I don't think he will try to eat them but they are in the way. There are some old dead greasewoods out there that have created mounds in the sand so I need to dig through and get the larger sticks out of the mounds. I worked on it this winter but we weren't positive where the round pen would actually go and I didn't want to clean up an area and find out it wasn't inside the pen when we built it. I have enough to do around here without making extra work:)

A stunning sunrise is beginning. Maybe I'll get out there and feed and gaze a bit. 37 degrees and warm again today. It isn't going to last. Looks like it should cool off again pretty soon.

Is this the stuff that makes tumbleweeds? Horrible things, especially when you're on a motorcycle and they are like magnets to a bike!

Your life is not on parade unless you post about it. You can limit your friends and drop friends if you want. Almost all of my facebook friends are close family and I have my posts marked friends only not friends of friends. We can keep up with my daughters and grandkids.

I play a few Zygna games on Face book. I have my gamers separate so they don't see what I post to my family and close friends. It's a pain to set up, but worth it.

A few of the vapor suppliers post coupons and discount codes, so I always keep checking them.

Tail is a sick puppy today. Not sure if I ate something bad, or have a stomach flu. Had to call in sick today - a rarity for me. Gonna go lay down for awhile as my head is starting to spin. Hope everyone has a great day!

I've been making a few extra trips myself today, Tail. Hope you feel better! I suspect it was a leftover marinara, but I'm not sure.

You were on Diego Garcia! Isn't that a very small island split down the middle by a runway with barracks and personnel facilities on one side of the runway and a rather restricted area where things are being dis-assembled on the other? I worked for Raytheon a while back and they were involved there, I think anyway, 'cause they wanted to send me there, but I wiggled out of it.

Tail, feel better. Hate being sick!

Nope, tumble weeds are Russian thistles. We don't have many in the yard now because I literally weed the entire 5 acres. If it gets too out of hand, I run the goats around in the back 2 acres but since we haven't finished cross fencing it is a PITA. Penny has to help me keep them in the back and off the trees.

Awsum, gorgeous vape gear holder. Wow.

I'm so exhausted from the last few days, I read a book in front of the fire and then got a three hour nap in. It is way colder than I thought it would be today but no wind. Time to go out and play with my little horsey for a bit. Let him play in his new pen again for awhile and maybe brush him a bit.

After my afternoon cup of coffee, of course.

No work though. I have to be in good enough form to clean a house tomorrow so other than a few minor projects like cleaning up the kitchen and maybe a load or two of laundry, I am done for the day.

Yep, I was there in the 80's. By the time I got there, we had real barracks, not the huts they used before the construction happened. The living area was on the tip of the island, the 2 comm stations were between the living area and the runway. That runway was so long, it was a backup runway for the space shuttle. The transmitter site was at the bottom of the island. The other side of the island was off limits, except when we had an official escort. The three little islands (that made the toes) were completely off limits. We were told that they were bird sanctuaries.

The island is under the British rule. All packages from home would have to be opened in front of their officers. They'd seize our VCR tapes and view them before they gave them to us. If we got cookies or homemade food, they'd usually help themselves to it. They claimed they were checking for porn on the VCR tapes and drugs in the food.

It was a long hard year. Beautiful, but not a lot to do, so they worked us to death. For those wondering what Diego Garcia is, here's a link: Diego Garcia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Very nice Awsum! Funny how we end up having to buy or make more stuff for our vaping habit! But, it sure looks better than a dirty ashtray any day! I ended up ordering the plastic makeup holder from Amazon that chief told us about awhile back. It should be arriving today. I'm really tired of knocking everything over on my desk. If I like it, I'll probably get another for my tv table.

I forgot to take a picture of my DIY flavor tray, another plinth, a white one, that hold fifteen 8ml bottles. It's handy and neat.

For those that don't know, a plinth is a piece of milled wood used to terminate the end of custom stair rails and can be bought for a few bucks at Lowes, Home Despot or many lumber yards.

Good morning, Joanne.

I really don't get the facebook phenomenon. I don't think my life should be paraded in public. I finally joined because the miniature horse group likes using facebook.

That definitely is a reason for you to join. Most of my family and friends are on facebook. I'm just behind the times I guess and not that social. I don't hate it really but I see no reason for me to join. I was actually surprised that I joined this forum but I knew nothing about ecigs or vaping and I found so much support and helpful information here.

Sorry you are feeling bad AJ! Hopefully it's just a 24hr thing and will pass quickly. Maybe you should call out tomorrow as well to give yourself the entire weekend to recover.

Thanks JoAnn! I wish I could, but I have too much to do tomorrow and this weekend. My stomach is still churning away. I've only eaten an apple today and that hasn't helped much. The strangest thing, is that I thought it was a back ache in the beginning. It woke me up and I tossed and turned for 3 hours until I finally got sick.

I'm going to try to make a smoothie in a little while to see if that helps.

It's been a while since I posted a picture of spring flowers, so here are some daffodils.

IMG_0204_zpsb75eb37e.jpeg

I hope they make you feel warmer if you're experiencing the cold snap we are. Around here, we are all asking ourselves when spring will come.

Sandy, did you ever go to Daffodil Hill in Amador County? What a lovely place! Wish I could send you some warm CA sun. It was up in the mid 70's today. It was nice to open the doors up and turn the heat off.

No, I never heard of it. I sure wish I was out there enjoying the warmth today. Tail, when you feel better, you'll have to go there and take pictures for us all. When I lived out in CA, there was so much to see that I never got to. It's amazing to me how, when I live in a certain area, I keep meaning to visit certain places and then never get to them, keep putting them off, and later, I move away and wish I had seen them. However, I did get to see one thing on my list, and that was the giant redwood you can drive a car through. When I was a kid, I saw a picture of that and was so impressed that seeing it and actually driving a car through it remained a dream, even into adulthood.
