Heh, I'm still not even sure what a mechanical mod means, yet I'm considering buying one...is that bad?

A mechanical mod has no electronics. It is just a tube or box with a battery and switch. If the battery output is 4.2 Volts, that is your starting point for vaping with a full battery. As the battery discharges, the voltage goes down accordingly and so does the vapor output and taste until the battery is fully discharged, or you put in a fresh battery. The only advantage is that there are no electronics to break. Most can be taken apart easily, cleaned or repaired and put back together like new. Nothing really to break unless you really drop it against a cement surface, otherwise they are more like a flashlight.

I see almost everyone has better weather, coffee on, and playing with their dogs, cats, and horses. Mrs. Wabbit is out helping at the Christian Shelter, and Wabbit is watching a computer screen.

I am putting off further purchases until after our cruise, and Publishers Clearing House drawing. One in about 10 Million chance to win, not too bad. Also the casino on the cruise ship allows me another chance to win a new toy.

Is the following a generally accurate albeit crude breakdown?

So in general you can break it down into a power source and a delivery system.
Power source can be further broken down into simple batteries (X2/Volt), variable voltage batteries(Spinner), Fancy variable voltage batteries (Vamo/Provari) and Mechanical.
Delivery systems are far to varied but seem to break down into cartomizer, Cart tanks, tanks and drippers.

You have it down Shay. Vamo and Evic types have variable voltage and wattage as an example. No major difference except on some models (Evic), once you set the wattage, it stays until you change it.

Giving away my age, I remember a snow storm, a few inches anyway, in April back in the 50's. Wonder if that was climate change back then as well? I don't seem to remember Huntley and Brinkley wringing their hands as they described the "horror" of that little storm like you see the talking heads do today.

Shay, don't be deceived by "simple" 65mm, 78mm and X2's. They all contain regulators that keep the voltage a little more constant. They start out at about 3.7 volts even though the battery may be delivering 4.2 volts. That provides a much more consistent vape than an unregulated one. That same circuit also handles charge notification and charging duties, so they aren't all that simple in reality.

Assuming I find my multimeter I should do some testing...well assuming I find it and can remember how to use the dang thing...

You know Roland, I have to agree. With a few minor changes the Vamo could almost be perfect, however I worry most about the circuit board, that is why I think my next mod will be pure mechanical so that it comes apart, and can be repaired if necessary. I am leaning toward the KTS Telescope and have put my name on the list to be notified when they are back in stock. Besides it looks cool. Isn't that worth $40.00

I used to "dog-sit" a neighbor's Rottie. Her favorite toy was a squeaky rubber ducky--yeah, like a kid's bath toy. It was amazingly funny, to see a Rott, with a yellow rubber ducky in her chops, squeaking it at you, eyes full of mischief... :come play with me:

She didn't tear it up? The only thing that my Rotts haven't totally demolished is their Kong toys,even when they were pups.

Just sitting around, watching the stock market go insanely high and worrying! I have no idea what I would do if we could no longer vape, ran out of e-juice or batteries etc. A traditional cigarette would knock me over dizzy and taste like eating burning leaves

If I smoked regular cigarettes like I vape, I would be coughing and sick by now. I am getting like Debra, almost up to 6 Ml per day now.

I hope summer gets here soon, getting outside and working will keep me busy, rather than sitting here posting to several hundred avid vaping fans and a few friends.

I haven't even tilled my garden for the first time, much less given any thought about planting. I am going to wait until late April to till and plant in mid to late May this year. Last year I planted much too early because it was super warm, and had to replant three weeks later because nothing came up.

We got Penny Poo Poo a new squeaky toy yesterday. She is squeaking and squeaking the new toy. So cute.

Busy day in Voltville but I have managed to catch up.

Too tired to comment though

My dog, Emma, loves squeaky toys. Her favorite game is to sit next to me and squeak the heck out of one of her toys while I'm on the phone.

I have three mechanicals, all box mods. They do a good job but I don't like dealing with the batteries. The reason I got them was in case of the Zombie Apocalypse. But I still use them once in a while. Funny, they're all 3.7v but seem to have more oomph than than the ones with built in batteries. Maybe that's just my imagination though.

My wife stopped at Pet Smart and got Bo a Kong squeaky toy. It's wrapped with heavy nylon webbing and has tails. He loves it and we've had him chasing it around the house. Unfortunately, he's already chewed through the webbing and made holes in the rubber ball underneath. I think it lasted all of fifteen minutes.
