On average, probably to about 4 inches above ground.
Hey, no offense to squirrels. My wife puts out corn cobs for them to eat and we have a deal with them and our fig trees - they get the figs on the top and we get the figs on the bottom. They have honored their half of the deal and we have not disposed of them so we have a good relationship with them (sort of)...
