NO YOU DIDN'T !!! Oh the SHAME of it !! What are you the Son of Sam's twin brother ??!!! Not the Tony Lama's too !!!

Just for the record anything that happens here is between consenting adults (anybody know what the age of consent is for Sheep?) and the sheep was here when I came to this morning so my guess is she was a party crasher, you know sheep are notorious for that around here!! As far as the lap dancing I do what ever It takes to keep the Little woman happy (she can be a little bit of a freak) No harm no foul! Awesum, Fishnets are not allowed around here because we run a upstanding joint, you should be ashamed, that's just disgusting! All I want to know is who put these fur lined handcuffs on me? those things are hard to type with, anyone got a handcuff key, I need to get to church sometime today. Raynes please do call 1-800- save a sheep because the last time this happened we ended up having to trade the sheep to a local farmer for a stump trained cow and we don't have room for anymore cows. all I need now is a boot jack and a handcuff key and maybe some makeup remover, then I could get on the Harley and go home, I'm just glad these parties only happen once a week because it takes two or three days for the welts from the riding crops to go down. :hubba:

You folks on the east coast hang in there, still praying all goes well. Uncle I hope everything turns out the way you want it to.
Whispers to Awsum-ditch the heels before you kill yourself. Women think men are their sexiest when they are mopping the floor.

Naw - I beg to differ on that one. Men are sexiest when they're caring for something helpless. Think baby or injured animal. Just sayin'.

I hate to tell Uncle this, but EWR, LGA and JFK are suspending operations as of tonight, guess they got all the planes out. Philly is shutting down, schools, government, transportation, the works. My guess is that PHL is suspending operations tonight too, so he's stuck in beautiful Philadelphia for the duration. The rain started here about 3PM, just spritzes going by for now, but it'll undoubtedly get heavier as the night goes by. Last forecast I heard was landfall sometime Monday night/Tuesday morning between Atlantic City and Toms River, just a little south and east of me. Oh well, can't change the weather.

You stay safe too! Brrr - where is my brandy? Oh wait - gotta drive to give someone a haircut yet today ...
(It's a balmy 35 right now ... in 6 months this will feel great! in 6 months this will feel great! in 6 months this will feel great! ):vapor:

Hello! I'm hopelessly back 60 pages and from the 2 I read - I recall I had not caught up then as I have no idea how SandySu is doing or what the heck theft happened to 1st Officer! I had to pop in to say I sure miss the humor and chit chat!

Rave: Love the pic of your German Shep racing thru the woods - past "your tree"!
Love ???'s dog furniture pic too!

The topic of being "Off Topic" - LOL! I thot that's what this thread was for! Any topic!
Really need to look at getting a second internet source - be it laptop or tablet!

Someone had a read a few books way back ... I have enjoyed a few new ones too! Some kindle some actual hardcopy!

My pain has diversified in ways I wish the pocketbook could! But I took the plunge and sat on my horse for the first time for all of 3 minutes - max. Thrilled but I want a saddle before I do it again! Too stiff to feel a sense of balance at all - holy cow! What a difference 22 years makes!

A ton of outside stuff to try to get thru before the cold sets in permanently (last Mon or Tues woke up to snow ... yuck!)

Wishin' y'all a great day / eve! :D

You'll catch up eventually Kiko!

Believe it or not, that wasn't a German shepherd running. That is an English mastiff. Lexi was running so fast that her floppy ears were flying up. She didn't even resemble herself. She usually looks more like a speed bump. :)

Fishnets: just slip 'em on quick - then bend over w/ a mirror behind you - quickest way to straighten em. Heels: just keep walkin on your tiptoes. Like a ballerina - your feet will get used to it! :D

Heck, if I do that the mini dress rides up very embarassingly in the rear!

What's a "baffle" type wood stove? What's a "rocket" stove? We have a "barrel" stove made back in the '70's out of a fuel drum from the war (extra heavy duty thick!).

A baffle wood stove has additional baffles inside that force the exhaust gas to take a longer path on the way to the chimney. That recovers more heat than a simple "fireplace" style stove. A rocket stove uses a technique of swirling the exhaust gas to actually burn the smoke, similar to a catalytic stove, to also improve the heat output. The big advantage of a rocket or catalytic stove is that the smoke, particulant and creosote get burned in the stove which lowers the accumulation in the chimney, reducing chimney fires very substantially.

Quick storm update...the track seems to be the same. Winds here are at about 30mph gusts and it's raining steadily, but not partiularly hard. I've talked with my family and they have their preparations done, generators ready and hatches battened. Have a good night Volties, I need my beauty rest, very badly!

Thanks for the info on stoves! Wonder what my sis has (Ohio) - she apparently needs a new converter but no longer made? Wonder if she'd be able to use from another mfg - or if they are way too different ... Around here the corn/pellet stoves were pretty hot for a few years. Then some decided corn was too spendy ... guys figured it would need to make $10 / bushel before it was no longer a good source.

Keepin' the chimney cleaner is definitely a plus!

After putting in a new LP furnace last year (remodeled the house for mom w/ air!) we only used the wood stove 2 times - for dog baths!
That 'bathtub' sure works great for cleaning the grain buckets for the horses!

Definitely going to be busy week if it warms like they say ... gettin wood carried in! Insurance man was out to check things after we were done ... he frowned on the wood stove ... he said we need to keep the wood a minimum of 36" from the barrel. It was packed within 2/5 feet ... oh well - better safe than sorry! I don't like it in the house directly - had some weird bugs flying around in the shower stall down there. After spraying the wood pile - they disappeared.

AWsum: only you need to see up your skirt just for the few minutes it takes to get the seams straight. After that, it's up to you how much or frequently you want to bend over ... ;-)

Hi, fanifox! Good to see you.....hope things are going okay.

I've been managing to just barely keep up with the thread, but haven't had anything to say, going through one of my quiet spells. But I wanted to say "Hi" to fani and to wish all of you who are in the path of the storm good luck. Let us know how you are as soon as you're able to.

Good morning Volties! Coffee is on so help youselves.

The wind has picked up and so has the rain. It's still too dark out to tell just how bad things are but I think it's nothing serious, at least so far. The barometer has dropped from 29.79 yesterday to 29.21 this morning and is still dropping. I wonder how low it'll go when the storm passes overhead? It's kind of cool, too, about 50 and won't get to 60 today. May actually have to run the heat today, what a bummer.
