Hello? Anybody home? Talk about a quiet day in Chit chat! I hope I didn't scare anybody off with the image of a Biker Barbie


I just got a chance to watch that video. I like it. After I stop laughing I'm going to look it up. The question is the "Spinner", the "Whip" or the one with the retractable feeding posts.

It was nice out today, got up to about 72 here with lots of sun and a pretty good breeze. I spent most of the day outside working on the yard, in shorts, in mid November! I'll take all of this that comes. Unfortunately tonight it's supposed to rain and a cold front is coming through. Back to reality tomorrow I guess.

Just stopped by for a minute and it appears everyone has found a way to entertain themselves (why doesn't that surprise me?) Anyway I will be off the grid completely until maybe Thursday, headed down to the Capitol for a little TCB. Later...

Hi, Raynes. I'm ok, a bit tired. Now through January is the busiest time at work and I'm picking up duties from 2 other desks besides my own. Just not on the computer much except to find some zone out movie or some such. And pay bills. Yeah, bills...

After 2 days w/ nasty sinus headache - back to work ...

4:30am? Don't know if I'd be able to do coffee without a programmable machine .... Best set it to start brewing about 4:10!

ETA: Awsum - I hope you (and others) are staying warm. From what I saw on the news last night it sure doesn't look too good for those stuck in the FEMA camps ... now this extra cold weather comin ... Keep you "eastcoaster" in prayer ...

The folks in the shelters, FEMA or Red Cross whould be fairly comfortable, at least warm, but there are a lot of people who haven't gotten any help at all. It is a lot cooler here today, about 50 after low 70's yesterday so no shorts for me today. The clean-up and help situation for those worst effected seems to have slowed to a crawl or stopped. I guess the photo ops are over and now they're on their own. It's funny, the local authorites want inspections before restoring power, mark the houses as unsafe, then tell the home owner to get it cleaned up and inspected but they aren't even allowed in. Breaucracy and government at its finest.

Have to head into town today and take care of business. Then, since it is a 60 mile drive, I will be grocery shopping and phone shopping.
