Rave, I got such a kick out of watching my patients with this Furby. We have , one patient that is extremely depressed waiting on ECT therapy. Furby got her to smile first time I've seen her smile since her admission. It was brief but I'll take it. Some would pet it,some rock it,
but they all loved it. I'm going to TRY to get some more and start a Furby therapy program.
I tried to get an animal therapy program started several yrs ago but the administrator shot that down.

That makes me so happy Raynes! Those goofy things really do crack me up. I'm easily amused, but they're still awfully funny. Maybe after Christmas is over, I'll search for a vintage Furby on eBay. I don't want one of the new ones frankly. Poor thing will probably end up in the pantry though. Wonder what Lexi will think of it. Which reminds me, I should post a couple of new pics ...

Good morning, Volties.

Too hot in Australia but too cold here !!! 24 degrees. Hubby lit the wood stove and it is a toasty 71 degrees inside though!!!!! Hopefully we will be back into the 50's for the high.

You got your vape mail. FUN!!! Still waiting on mine. I won a bottle of juice in a contest. And of course, I have a huge order coming from SI. Hoping to get it today.

I have big plans for today Actually, I got a lot done yesterday but now I need to consolidate that into the last push to clean the place up. I'm a professional so it shouldn't take me too long to do the basic bathroom and kitchen The goats will need some new straw. And I have reached my quota of trash [limited to seven cans and bags] so the extra couple of bags will have to be put into the trash shed for next weeks trash run.

It is amazing how much stuff accumulates over a few years time. And I think we do a pretty good job of keeping up around here!!!! I really must ask myself, "Are we going to manage to use this? or should I just throw or give it away today before I stash it in a cabinet, cupboard or shed!"

Looks like we are getting our own huge sub-set of Aussies here. How cool is that. I've always wanted to go to Australia and New Zealand.

Good for you for getting so dang much done! Next stop: Indiana. Please?

We are getting a nice Aussie population here. How cool is that?! Australia was always on my bucket list too. The indigenous flora and fauna are fascinating to me.

No perfumey notes. Don't get boysenberry. I had to mix it with several items to get the edge off the perfumey taste with boysenberry.

Strawberries and cream is delicious but I suggest you do get the ethyl maltose so you can put a little sweetner into it if you want to.

Blackberry is pretty bad too,,,,,,and I've tried BOTH of them,,,,,,,,not worth the $$ unless you plan to use it in VERY small amts as a second flavor,,,,,,,even then, it's rather strong and fake and not as good as other flavors,,,

Juicy Peach is my fav,,,,,

Cinnamon Danish is delicious,,,

Bavarian cream is good too,,,,,,,,

Tiramisu sucks,,,,,,,,

Amaretto,,,,,,eh, not worth it,,,,,,,,

watermelon is great,,,,,,,,

dragon fruit was a disappointment,,,,,,,tastes like pear and a bit of banana,,,,,,,,,eh, not for me,,,,,,,

Sure Holly, I'll hold your hand and vape like a fiend with ya. I don't trust doctors as far as I could throw 'em. There have been too many times when I've been misdiagnosed and mislead. Hopefully, today you will get those answers that you've needed to help you move forward. I understand completely. We're all here for you.

Hopefully test results today, Lizzie,,,,

genetics test to see if I have the marker for AS,,

Xrays to see if I have SIGNS of AS,,,,

if both are positive, I have AS,,,,

if only one is positive,,,,,,,,I might be diagnosed with something lesser until such a time as my spine fuses,,,then I'll have AS.

if none of it is positive,,,,,,,,,,,,they'll tell me I'm nuts LOL

to clarify, I had those tests 4 weeks ago,,,,,,it's been 4 weeks of nervous waiting for the results,,,,,,,,

My sympathies on the four week wait. That stinks. I hate to let everyone know how ignorant I am (even though I'm sure everyone already knows) but, what does "AS" stand for?

My Dad was a doctor, a surgeon, and the Chief of Staff of the hospital.

He always said they call it "practicing" medicine for a reason.

When he was diagnosed with cancer, and in the hospital about 6 months before he died, he made my Mom promise to never take him to the hospital again.

He passed peacefully in his own bed. Hospice is amazing, and I encourage anyone who can to donate to them.

Holly, I pray that whatever the results are, God grants you a peace beyond understanding that only HE can.

Rave, AS stands for Ankylosing Spondylitis,,,,

an auto immune disease, a form of arthritis that affects the spine, primarily, causing extra bone to grow and "fuses" one vertebra to another,,,,,,,,this is painful LOL

it also affects joints such as the knees, elbows, and hips,,,,,

and tendons that attach to the bones, like your heel tendons.
