Good morning, Volties. It is the .... crack of dawn. Cafe Verona , a nice medium roast coffee and oatmeal raisin cookies this morning

The snow is only a couple of inches deep but Hubby says the roads are slicker than snot. The little horsey is waiting to be fed but I don't think he looks cold. I definitely have to leave a half an hour early to get to my job on time.

Good Morning Volties!

I hope to be able to talk with Blues today and I'm so excited!!!!!

Maybe I shouldn't get my hopes up, but the doc said he'd release Blues from his monitor if all keeps going well. He's been doing his physical therapy, and it's tiring. Knowing him, he'll be back up and running in no time flat. The trick is going to be getting him to take it slow and easy.

So ---- I'm in the middle of a literal blizzard here. We got the official blizzard warning yesterday so we were able to prepare a bit. Unfortunately, blizzards have a tendency to cause all kinds of emergencies, so my son is out working in this mess. I've heard that we may get 15" of snow with 35-40 mph winds before all is said and done. I just took some pictures through the windows. After I download them from my camera, I'll put them up.

Hope everyone is safe from the tornado outbreak caused by Winter Storm Euclid down south. Raynes? Everything okay in your neck of the woods? 19 tornadoes yesterday! The largest Christmas tornado outbreak in history. Not good.

I originally come from Philadelphia, and my family's down here. Today, I hope to get a Philly steak sandwich down on South St. and visit someone else who lives down there.

GINO's (Very Little Grease) or PAT'S (Grease) - ARE MUCH BETTER ! ! !

Do me a favor SandySu... when you take that 1st bite... PLEASE take one for me. There is NOTHING to compare to the original Philly steak sandwich. Where I live, we call them submarine sandwiches because they are massive! It's been yyearsss since I've had one.

Hey Uncle!! Stay inside? What fun is that?? I'm actually feeling much better thanks to Raynes. Wow - it's like I've had a piano taken off of my back. I can even stay upright!! So ... I'm thinking it's time for a walk in the woods with Lexi to enjoy all of this snow, but I'm going to wait until after the wind dies down. And, there's the whole "I've never been sledding in my entire life" issue that I want to resolve.

W00t? Do not worry about me i'm fine. Everything is slow and creation is stopped but it's fine for now. I got electrocuted once LOL.

Did i mention i got my old job back? I'm working on the energy department now everytime we have work to do. Big generators, UPS systems on hospitals, 150kV high voltage lines etc. Not much but enough for the rent and a plate of food. Antenna towers not so much lately. I go from one danger to the other mehehe.

The best thing is that now I don't have to worry about being trapped in the woods by snow anymore. Dave got a plow for his beater truck and got to put it to use today.

Good morning/afternoon/evening Volties wherever you live! I had to go into work for a few hours this morning and heard a radio ad for njoy. I was so happy to hear it <even though I don't use their products> because it's a voice for us vapers! And I'm really sick of the useless/dangerous Chantix, nicotine gum, and other paraphernalia commercials that are clogging the airways this time of year! Score one for the vapers!!!

Uncle - you crack me up. You've got an amazing stockpile of smilies!! Don't worry, I'll be careful if I go sledding. Dave is trying to tell me that it's too dangerous here in the woods. I'm not inclined to be too put off by that though.

Raynes made a few suggestions. Sometimes I can't see the forest for the trees. Especially when I'm not thinking clearly because I don't feel good. I get stupid. She's an angel for helping me figure out what the problem was.

The Philly, New Jersey, New York area does specialize in nice fatty, greasy comfort foods, but a Philly cheesesteak is a really good sandwich. Try it with chicken as well, that's also a big winner.
