Do you charge them on your computer or a usb hub?

I'm getting use to the twists and I'm plan on getting a spinner from SI as well. I do like them and mostly use lower settings. Now I thought mods were a totally different animal... box type mods... like the gripper. They have removable rechargeable batteries. Do you have anything like that? Was wondering if they may last longer than the X2, twist or spinner. Easier to just replace the batteries etc. Just trying to prepare ahead of time for this uncertain future.
There are several that "swear by" the gripper - but if I recall correctly the connection between the box & tank is occasionally a weak point. They could tell you more about that over on the 50 and Older thread. Be warned : lots of tempting toys are discussed!

I have been quite unsuccessful with TFA/TPA flavors. Everything tastes perfumy and soapy to me except red hot cinnamon flavor (my favorite), RY4 type 1 and Capt Black tobacco.

Try Capellas, I got apple pie, chocolate fudge brownie, stawberries & cream, harvest berry, gingerbread, orange creamsicle, etc. Every flavor was dead on with no perfumy / soapy smell or taste. I have been buying mine at High Desert Vapes.

Everyone is different, tried the cantaloupe after Holly raved about it in here, and after steeping for a month still tastes like weak cantaloupe soap. I mixed it at 15%.

But, being a glutton for punishment, I ordered (TFA) butterscotch and mint chocolate today from WL.

That was me awesum. I had a pot made for putting on the grill. The 900mah batteries fit just fine in there, and threw a lid from another pot on top when charging. I figured it was better than nothing, and couldn't hurt since only the threaded tip touches the pot, the other end is held up by the chord. I do allow them to charge overnight, but not when I am at work.

Buying / building mods would be possible for me, my main concern would be tanks for the juice. But at that point I would be weaning myself off these altogether. I believe it would be much easier to stop these at this point than trying to quit stinkies. There were so many habits that were hard to break, took months, along with the cravings I would get. Sometimes even after chain vaping for a while, I would crave a stinkie like after a good meal. But that hasn't happened in a couple months.

I've heard some have good results (cravings) using "whole tobacco absolutes" for a while at the start. Perhaps it helps til the body detoxes from the 4k other chemicals no longer in the mix? If so, sounds you are past that! Cool idea w/ the pot!

Flavors : the first 5 months I was perfectly happy with my mix of SI's choc / mint / artic menthol. By the 7th I was wondering if e-cig were going to be the answer. Between learning about 'vapor' s tongue ' & finding extra flavor options - that helped for a little while. Never thought it possible but now tobacco flavors - sometimes w/ menthol are preferred. At home coffee & a fruit are in rotation. Often I'm adding flavorings to them tho - 2 or 3 drops per mil of juice.
The frustrating part is liking a sample only to find I don't like it as much later when I get a bigger bottle!
Perfumey ones: have you tried adding a drop or 2 of apple cider vinegar or lemon juice? It helps!

I've got a 4 port USB wall charger, got it on amazon. I just take the X2 cable and plug it into that, the X2 charges a little slower but not by much. I wonder if deb could get something like that from amazon au.

Someone from another thread gave me a charger for the Twists - I didn't have the best luck with it & thought it was the battery's at first. For that reason, I'd suspect the charger first. Also seems to me something was said (some where) about mini power surges - that's why we have the rest of our toys on surge protectors..... perhaps that has some bearing on the problem?

Oh it's not the end of the world - but I can see it from here! Bundle up til you can't hardly move & waddle!
Days of rain or just cold and cloudy is a wet blanket on the spirit. Almost every time I quit smoking - January was usually the month I started again : SAD? (seasonal affect disorder. aka: lack of sun)

JoAnn : beautiful pic - I totally understand your reasoning (disagree tho).

Me for one. Call me crazy... call me weak... but I GOT to have one... 900mah. Purple or red but leaning toward red. My 4th month analog-free anniversary and my upcoming birthday gift to myself.
Me for two !!! Got to try a T3 with the spinner wasn't impressed with the T3 on the X2 seemed to lose flavor for me.

I'm watching a live rescue of a woman stuck in a one foot space between two walls in Portland, Oregon. She's been there since three in the morning and the firefighters are using masonry saws to cut the wall open to get her out. One do has to wonder how in the heck she got in there in the first place, especially at three in the morning. They've got a hole cut and can see and talk to her. Now they know exactly where she is it shouldn't be a big problem to cut the wall around her and she'll sort of "pop" out. Wonder is she was "over the legal limit" or just fooling around. In either of those cases I hope they give her the bill for the rescue and fixing the wall.
I sure would like to know her explanation.

Sitting down, facing forward.
I get a newsletter from "James" of the UK. This one is linked to a rather interesting article on Diethylene glycol.
I've not read much about it - someone I worked with in December commented about it as the subject came up with a friend who WAS thinking about trying ecigs ...

Here's the link:

Oh good! the confirming email came - now I can finish up on that petition! I'm 3,378!

Great article that again shows the same basic fact that vaping is far safer than smoking and probably borders on being harmless. I just frosts my cookies that they keep repeating the same "sky is falling" panic attack stuff when all the basic research has been done, for years. I guess that's how they justify their pathetic existence in the first place.

The battery/device life is based on the size of the battery in milliamp hours. A lot of the "mod" style devices use 18650 batteries and those are available with up to 3000 milliamp hour capacity. They are relatively inexpensive, as in under ten dollars each. Bottom line is they will last roughly twice as long as an X2-1300 assuming the 3000 milliamp 18650 is being used.

Still no real explanation on why/how the woman got stuck between those two walls. One "witness" said she couldn't figure it out either.

I think we need a "sticky" somewhere to the collage if Rabbit is gong to keep it updated, which could get to be a real pain.
