Oh my! For once, I am the one catching up on this thread! LOL! I'm sitting here, LMBO!

Thanks Raven beauty......those fireworks are just for me...some like it hot...reminds me of a tune...Robert palmer...what was the name of the band...some like it hot..lets turn up the heat til we fry.......I wasn't going to tell you all...my wi fi wasn't fried...my silly old mate land lord..power point was the trouble...so no lie like only 15mins latter after, the truth came out...the good old courier arrives with the new one...so $100 wasted.on new one and driver fees...oh !! the joy..:glare:...I just have to laugh..:laugh::laugh:

Deb, that's PowerStation! LOVED THEM! Although, I was a Duran Duran fan and that was Robert Palmer and John Taylor! Have the album on Vinyl, somewhere! :)

Just curious: Has anyone else seen World War Z ?! Holy cow - it is intense! I expected hokey zombies and gratuitous gore, but that was not what this movie is all about at all. Wild action followed by brief breaks to catch your breath, and then back to action again. Personally, I thought it was very well done. *chit-chit-chit* (for those that have seen it) View attachment 227214

Not yet, Rave! I want to see it! My brother was going to take us to see it last week, if he had the money. He ended up having to fix his car and buy himself a nice outfit so he could be a pallbearer at my Grandmother's funeral.

MAC sucks. Apple sucks. They all suck. Maybe that's why :D :D :D

Yeap, i downloaded it illegally and saw it. I also downloaded other movies.
Feel free to arrest me. :D

Haha! I used to do that, but my husband put a stop to it. He didn't like that idea, even though I still convert youtube videos into mp3's! ;)

A new thread for me to play in? Hello Peeps. :)

Hello, Jerry, and welcome! I am Tina! :)

I really should have said most of the old zombie movies were low-budget films. I love good si-fi, especially if it looks like it could actually happen. Yes I've looked at Planet Earth... love that series. Now I want to see this film but I'll probably wait for DVD.

Have you seen, "The Host?" Good movie and great book! I have loved Sci-Fi since I was a kid. I think I read all the classic Sci-Fi books they had at the library! The original "V" was my favorite, I would write fan fiction about the characters in the TV series. I think I threw all those writings out, though.

Just a quick hi to the room, I'm having some internet problems here, it keeps going in and out. (fingers crossed I get this typed)

Happy Birthday Sandy!!

Happy 1 year anniversary Deb!!

Glad you enjoyed your camping Rave, everyone needs a reboot every now and then, right?

Nice to meet you Jerry, I went to that battle thread for a short time, couldn't keep up with it.

Hope you all have a wonderful day and enjoy the 4th of July festivities, however you celebrate it. If you are not in the USA, celebrate anyway, it's as good a reason as any!

Sorry about your internet problems! Hope you have a great 4th, yourself! :)

That sounds like what I would do:)

Made me laugh.

Don't worry, Raven, I am already home and staying inside except for a couple of brief forays to turn some water off and on. Yesterday I turned the water on for the goat trough and came back inside for 15 minutes. Did the same for the horse. Then I turned on the water for the front yard zone and back inside. I only work outside in the mornings until I can't take it anymore. If I really think I need to do something extra, I wait until almost sunset and put in another half an hour.

I got to the job early, I did a great job and then I left. 91 degrees when I got home so I beat the heat by a little bit. Hubby is claiming he can get my AC in my truck working. That would be nice. We shall see. I lived in Las Vegas for 10 years or so with no AC in the cars I owned so I am pretty tough but I really don't enjoy this kind of heat at all.

Hi Jerry.

Hope hubby gets your AC fixed, Lizzie! Mine stopped working for a short time and hubby discovered I needed antifreeze in the car. Once he filled it, it started working again.

Cindy, you take Brad, I'll have a large slice of Sam Elliot instead, please and thank you!

Holly and Cindy, hope you both feel better really quick.

I have gone back to like a few pages, dang the thread explodes when I can't join in. I think my problem is my wireless thing, yep that's the term. I am plugged in now, bypassing wireless and things are working fine.

Now I need to get a few things done, I blew too much of my day trying to get the computer working. Had to wash my own mouth out with soap a couple of times. Too bad you are so far away Deb, I might be in the market for a wireless thing!

Okay, I'm done :D

Sam Elliot is a great actor and so is Anthony Hopkins!

Hooray for me! I'm on vacation until 7/14! Of course I have my renovation to deal with, but I'm hoping I'll have it done by the end of the weekend, then it's just little odds and ends to do. I'm hoping to take Whisper out on a nice ride next week providing the weather is cooler. These 100 + days with humidity is too much for both of us to ride in.

Hope everyone has a great 4th of July. Whisper and I will be watching one of her animal shows on TV as she hates fireworks. I think tomorrow night will be a long one for us!

Happy 4th to you, Tail! Hope you enjoy your vacation!

Theft is a marvelous thing when it comes to smilies. :sneaky: But, you can also find all kinds of sites on the web that have masses of 'em.

I am going to steal some smilies and upload them to my photobucket! Then I'll know where they all are! :)

Haha, did I scare everyone away with that last one?

I love that belly dancer one!

I saw the cutest thing today. A man was pulling a little cart with a duck on it. He stopped and took out a spray bottle and sprayed the duck. The duck stood there and enjoyed it and if it could smile, it probably would have. I wished I would have pulled out my camera to get a shot of it.

Kinda a cool thing to see when sitting at a red light in 106 temps. :)

Aww! That is so sweet!

Yeah, this is what happens when I take too much NyQuil.

What a lightweight you are, Cindy! ;) Don't worry, I am, too!

Couldn't resist. Humor is preservation of sanity.

Wuzz, you are a wise one! How are you doing?

Hi Marlou! Good to see you around! :)

Yeah. What is it about Rick Astley that just entrances me? Sometimes I get stuck watching him; then I wake and wonder about myself. Is it sort of a Zen thing like saying "om"?

Rick Rolled kind of ruined my love for Rick Astley. I don't know what started it.

ha ha does that avatar look civilized...im hell on wheels...in a supermarket...:evil::evil:

Well, you did say you were a cat! I don't know any civilized cats. At least they aren't, underneath their fur! ;)

So I just had to find out what this means. I found The Official site for International Talk Like A Pirate Day - September 19 and now I know.

If you are on Facebook, you can change the language to "Pirate Talk" on that day! At least last year you could. It was interesting for a while.

Nope, that's me Nukified. I'm pilaging and plundering. :D

Jerry! You should come in and visit for a while! I hear you next door! ;)

Hi Tina. I CU there! :)

Yes, you do, Rave! I was very tired this morning and actually slept from 10 - 6! Don't usually sleep that long! Had my new BIPAP mask on and apparently it slipped off in my sleep. I barely remember my husband taking it off of me, as I could not even move to do it for myself!

Hope everyone is enjoying themselves, this evening! Looks like you all had a fun day on here! ;)

Well, I'm still here Tina, but not for long. My bunnies are barkin' at me to feed 'em. *sigh*

Sorry you weren't here earlier. It was a riot!

It's okay! It's always nice to be here!

Bunnies? I miss my bunny! He was bigger than my cats, even! I named him Fozzy and he was so easy to litter train! I ended up giving him away to a veternarian and his family. I just couldn't handle cleaning that big of a cage. I would let him out to hop around the house, on a leash, and my cats got along great with him. Now, if I had one, my dogs would just want to chase after it. :(

Isn't it strange that after a bombing, everyone blames the bomber, but after a shooting, the problem is the gun?!

A lot of times I happen to overlook signatures, as most around here are those counters or whatnot, showing how long since you've quit smoking and how much money you've saved. Jerry, I must say that I like this one and totally agree! And that's the last I will say about that topic, as I don't want to start any debates.

Rave, I forgot mention this in my "large" post, but this reminds me of a picture in one of my doctor's waiting area. I am going to have to take a picture of it, sometime. It's actually behind the receptionist's desk, but I don't think she'd mind if I took a pic of it. It has about six different types of animals, smoking, on it and says "They look stupid doing it and so do you!" Very unique, which I like!

Added: Oh! I just love Google Image search! I found it! Here it is! Might just use it for my signature!

Fozzy is a great name for a bunny. But, mine aren't really "bunnies". I have a colony of sugar gliders. And their cage is 6' tall. They are nocturnal, so they wake up late for "breakfast" at around 11 p.m. or so.

That cage is a pain to clean!

Oh, Rave, they are so cute! I bet that cage is a P.I.T.A. to clean! Are sugar gliders, mean? I have heard rumors that they are. I've never known anyone, before now, that have owned them!

No, they aren't mean, but they are really terrible pets. Especially if you have other pets. Mine reach out between the bars and try to grab Lexi's fur because they can do that with opposable thumbs. Imagine what would happen if you have a less tolerant dog or a cat. Their dinners need to be made of fruits, veggies, and proteins in a precise calcium/phosphorus ratio or they can get hind leg paralysis. And, in spite of bonding bags, they really don't like being handled. They just want to be with other gliders. They can and will self-mutilate if they are kept alone. One of my gliders chewed off half of her own tail before I rescued her on Craigslist. There are too many other negatives to list ...

Maybe that is what I heard about them -- that they are difficult to care for. I'm not one for those kind of pets. I like the kind you can pick up and cuddle! I don't think my dogs, or cats, would put up with them. That is sad about the paralysis and self-multilation! I'm glad that you have a couple to keep each other company!

Speaking of animals, my sisters visited today even though I can't have any here. The smaller one is the newest - a rescue.

Nuke! They are both beautiful! I'm glad that you at least have some pets to visit you! Unless they are annoying, like my dogs are most of the time, they can be very comforting and help calm you down!

They're fairly calm after a good half hour of belly rubs and scratches. Lily is more of a lap dog no matter where you sit. She has to be between your stomach and your arm, even if she doesn't necessarily fit. Hershey just plops herself across my feet to remind me she's still there.

My oldest, Sassy used to sit on my feet when I would sit in the living room, when we lived in our mobile home. She'll sleep at the end of the bed, by my feet, now. As for Milo, he is always near his daddy, much like your sister's dog, Lily. He will even sit in the chair my husband uses while playing his video game! Although when we sleep, Milo will do a flop right onto my belly! Hubby had to buy me a body pillow to prevent him from hurting me after my surgery! LOL!

All I have to say is LMAO. So funny, all of you.

Good night.

It did look like quite a fun day, today, here! Good night, Lizzie! :)

By the way, I want sugar gliders now. They're a "less repulsive to others" form of a rat to me.

I still have a soft spot for gerbils. I'd like to get an Oscar fish now that our guinea pigs are gone, but we already promised the desk we used for their cage to someone. We'd need that to put the fish tank on!

All I can say is WOW. I got back on 30 minutes ago and it took that long to catch up. What a chatty evening.

What are you shopping for Deb, I thought you had it ALL by now?

I did pull the trigger on the Sigelei 8W with a 16% 4th of July discount from Exhale Vapors. It is the closest thing to a true Caravella that I will ever get, but it is an "order" item and won't be in until later in July. It kept saying buy me, buy me.

Went out with Mrs. Wabbit to see some fireworks, then had a beer and did some vaping, and then had to catch up with the forum.

Got to get to bed now, it is almost midnight.
