Just popping in to say hi I have missed a lot, I'm sure. A busy couple of days and more to come. I had to skip pages to catch up and I haven't even looked to see what new threads have started. Besides all the fun, have I missed anything I should know about?

I agree! Did you ever taste melted Brie? Brie is good when it's been sitting out and gets gooey anyway, but melted on a lightly toasted bagel with a slice of tomato on top, it's absolutely fabulous!

Warmth releases flavor in food. Have you ever noticed that some fruits are better at room temperature than cold? Dunno the science behind it, but it sure seems to be true.

It's also the consistency. Who doesn't love that gooeyness of melted cheese?

For me, being here is therapy. I doubt I'd still be vaping and trying to quit analogs if it weren't for you guys. Not to mention the entertainment value. I'm so happy I found ECF, Volts, and this forum.

Huh? Sometimes we all just go off to do something else. It may have had nothing to do with your post. I went off to the barn to meet the guy who trims Penny's feet, only to get a message from him that his horse was colicking and he couldn't come. Penny got a good grooming, anyway, which she needed. She loves to roll in the mud. I keep cleaning her, she keeps painting her body again. It makes for a nice, shiny coat, anyway.

I just saw the new Scorsese movie "Hugo".
If you have the chance, see it. I though it was amazing! Never expected a film like that from Martin Scorsese, so poetic and tender. Now I understand why it has been nominated for 11 Oscars!

You folks talking about cheese inspired me to make homemade macaroni and cheese layered with Polska Kielbasa. I can feel my arteries hardening already, but Dave is going to be verrrry happy.

I am starting to see one scary problem with vaping. I find that I take drags much more often than when I was smoking. The thing is becoming my pacifier! I'll need to lower the nic content soon or I'm going to get nic poisoning. LOL

Think I had just read something about the "dangers of cheese", my reply was meant to be a kudos to your liking cheese, I'm getting a bit sick of pple saying how bad cheese is for you, I personally don't think cheese is a bad thing, it's tasty protein and calcium.

Usually fat carries taste, ever noticed low fat cheese? Tastes neutral.
Same happens with meat too.
