Well, I ordered the Smooth Sampler & The Sweet Sampler.
Then I ordered the Watermelon, RY4 & ( by mistake ) 2 packs of the Cowboy... I feel really anxious as to how I'm going to like the Cowboy... Because I have read very different opinions of it.
What is your take on those flavors?
My all-time fave is chocolate. I know, it's crazy! I never would have thought I'd even like it. It has a dark chocolate taste with a hint of smokiness. I think I wouldn't like it as much if it tasted like milk chocolate instead of dark.
I dug out the RY4 recently to try again. I liked it at first, but the sweetness started to wear on me. It's OK, but not a favorite. But it's less tobacco tasting than some of the others, since it has a taste of caramel.
I'm not too fond of cherry. I want fruit flavors that taste like the actual fruit more than candy. But if you like cherry cough drops, you'll love this.
555 is OK. More tobacco flavor than RY4, not as sweet, but there is a hint of sweetness to it.
Cowboy has a faint spiciness, maybe even a hint of menthol or mint. Moderately sweet -- sweeter than 555.
Grape has that artificial fruit flavor. It tastes more like grape soda than an actual grape.
Vanilla: There's a smoky taste at first, then as you exhale, more vanilla flavor. Sweet, but not excessively so. Actually, not bad. I haven't vaped this flavor in a while, but I might put it into the active pile.
Watermelon surprised me. It tastes more like the fruit. There's a spicy smokiness in it, though, that's not in the fruit.
Freedom is more tobacco tasting. Some people compare it to dirty socks, and I do get the hint of that kind of musky flavor.
Desert Joe is nothing like a Camel cigarette, if that's what it's supposed to be, but it's an OK tobacco flavor, probably more straightforward tobacco than the others in the Smooth Sampler. If you want plain old tobacco, this is probably the one you'll like best.
I think that's all the flavors you mentioned. The 2 samplers you chose are an excellent choice. If you like the grape, I suggest you give the Classic Grape a try. It's a bit smokier, and I like it better.
