Thank heavens for the chit-chat forum where we can post non ecig stuff.

I just have to put this out here. I think Imagine or someone recently had credit card info swiped and used and some others have too. When I went on my weekend vacation, I took a little mini wallet with me from a company called Identity Stronghold at Identity Stronghold - #1 Manufacturer of RFID Blocking Wallets, Sleeves and Badge Holders. I had recently seen a report about how someone can swipe your card info without even touching your wallet, and it concerned me because it turns out my city was the test market for the new, easy to swipe info credit cards now being issued. Color me P.O.'d!! Anyway, I tested the mini wallet with my govt ID card with an RFID chip, and it worked beautifully to block the reading of the info. So, I had to pass on the website for anyone who might be concerned. I felt safe with my credit cards and passport card going through DIA, and every other place I went. I also bought individual card sleeves and passport sleeves. Now, I'm also going to start using prepaid credit cards to purchase online.

Anyway, keep yourselves safe, my friends. I just wanted to pass personally tested info on for you.

thanks for the info, kia. I'm gonna look into buying one of those wallets.
What's "DIA"? That one stumped me.

Hi Kia sounds like it was an enjoyable stealthy flight ;) oh and we havent really met either so hi!
Yeah juices here are great - & looking forward to the 3-4 day postal times. I love their vanilla bean icecream, banana fosters, spliced lime, and the black tabacco & honeycomb, just had to order some nicotine from RTS vaper. Will letyou know how i pan out later on in the month when it all comes in.
I did diy once but i didn'nt like the base i used and it was a horrible fail of diy with concentrates. This way they are 0mg x2 strenght doublers and pg nicotine... Looking forward to saving some postage money for a while.
So jealous of you Rave ... Fresh maple syrup yummy!! I hope you enjoyed it thoroughly!!

Haha you crack me up!!!
Kia thx for posting that!! I think its a great idea and will be looking into it more. There's been all sorts of problems here in australia, with thugs even going to the trouble of manipulating machines with dodgy card readers to steal your info from you, all the while them sittin in a car just meters away taking down your numbers through software on a laptop. Also some recent news of iphones being used to against other iphones to trace the keyboard presses on trains & trams for those using internet banking on the run.

If you are really worried about someone reading your credit cards from your pocket, a cheap and easy stopgap measure is to wrap the cards in aluminum foil. Being covered in metal, they are unreadable. Any kind of metallic case will work, I hear. I think the wallets they sell are protected with a thin sheet of metal in them.

I'm guessing it's an abbreviation for an airport. There! I looked it up: Denver International Airport. Airports have such abbreviations. Sometimes they seem far from the actual name, like Los Angeles is LAX. Makes me think of Ex-Lax every time I hear or read it.

Thanks, Sandy. I was going to look it up, but got a brainfart and forgot.

And in case you dropped it in coffee do not throw it away..
I'll send you a pack of analogs for free if you send it to me :D :D

A pack of analogs? That is not very nice, K. :p

I did drop my 510 into a bowl of dog water. It doesn't hold a charge as long as it used to. If it does die some day, I'll send it to you. (You can keep the analogs, thanks.)

Yes, you are right. Unfortunately, tin foil tears easily and won't hold up to everyday use. The wallets have a lining, but not metal. I think it's something like their sleeves is sewn into the linings, so the wallets are still flexible and lightweight with the lining being durable. I bought an aluminum case for only a few dollars less at Kmart just before my wallet came, and it is the worst cash I paid out. It might work, but no way the inside card holders were going to last through everyday use, and it was a tad bulky and heavy to carry around.

Well, la-de-da. I just realized something. I am four months smokefree today...AND...it is my 37th wedding anniversary. After all these years, I can't be mad at Hub for forgetting...I forgot myself.

Congratulations - on Both Anniversaries!!

One year, my late husband and I both forgot that it was our anniversary. We had a lot of fun blaming each other for forgetting, but neither of us was serious. We didn't place a whole lot of importance on such things because our relationship was strong and secure.

Thank you, Rave. We feel the same way. Newlyweds might find that hard to understand, but it really is no big deal after all these years. We're still together, that's what counts.

Congratulations! And, yes, you can still be mad at him. Do what women around the world do: Pretend that you remembered and it was just him that forgot. Works every time.
