OK, you guys jinxed me. Using the drip tip from SI, I got a slight bit of liquid in my mouth this evening. Yes, I was taking repeated puffs w/o much rest time in between, but nothing I felt was unusual for me. So why did it happen now, when it never did before? I can only think it's because everyone was saying this happened to them, and I said it NEVER happened to me. Never say never, I've heard, and I guess this proves it. Meanwhile, I put that flavor down and picked up another e-cig, and no leaks. But that battery went dead, so it's charging. Picked up another and vaped a little, and THAT battery went dead, too. This is the first time I had 2 at once need recharging. The 2nd one will have to wait till the first recharges. BTW, by now, I can tell when a battery is about to go dead about 3 puffs before it does. So this evening I started wondering if I should just recharge when it loses the performance 3 puffs before, or should I wait till the battery is truly dead? Which is best for battery life, or doesn't it matter?

Assuming that these are lithium batteries, it actually is good to top them off I have read. So when you feel the performance is going down, it might not hurt to just charge them up. :)

SandySu, these batteries will last MUCH longer if they are not constantly "deep-cycled" -- i.e., vaped until the light flashes and they go dead. IOW, Retriever is spot on -- in fact, deep-cycling should be avoided. (I'm personally horrible about doing that!)

Thanks. That's what I used to do till I got so many batteries going at once that now it's hard to keep track of them. I guess I'll keep one out with no carto and drip tip on it and daily, I'll switch the one with another, which I'll recharge before it needs it. That's not a surefire way to prevent a battery from totally running down, but maybe it'll prevent it from happening as often. Twice in one night is a lot, IMHO.

Well, i have had a busy day and haven't had a chance to try out my new batteries and clearomizers yet. So tomorrow will be the big day. Just want to make sure I have time for charging, etc., and I have had a relative in the hospital. I can't wait to try them. :)

You know, I could have sworn I posted this before. The 12 hour day zapped me hard, I guess.

Retriever, I'm sorry to hear you have a relative in the hospital. I hope they'll be ok.

And, tomorrow, vape and relax, friend.

retriever more hopes that your relative will be fine.
on the soda stream topic.... we grew up with the one that looked like a rocket as such, it took those little green canisters of gas and had a big handle i think, that you had to pull or pump. It was in the 80's .
There's a lady at work who i talk to heaps about food receipes and making things from scratch, she is the one with all the kitchen gadgets. We are her test squirells ;p when it comes to tasting her creations, mind you her food comes out like chef standards.
One day she brought in her soda stream cream soda... and i was hooked. So i got a basic model and take my canisters to kmart to get them refilled for around $12, as i dont drink it everyday a canister can last me up to 3months. There are so many flavours you can get.
Sandysu - what a wonderful turn out for Penny & yourself... it sounds like penny has kind of adopted Jennifer too. Sometimes we may not like or have not been around a certain type of animal, but when you start caring for one, that kind of bond that is made is so special for both parties. Seems Penny has opened her heart and allowing another person to get close to her through the caring she has received from the girl. ;) awwee make my heart melt.
As for me no vape mail yet.... I do have some no nic 0mg juice coming from another state in Australia to try out and see if i can get back into liking them. I did however give in and after 3 months of decisions i purchased a $35 vacuum for the spa. I tried syphoning the dirt out, trying to soak it with a towel, scooping and what not.... it just doesn't work as well. But this vacuum is unreal, and some strips to get a better TDS reading, as now that my balancing of water chemistry issues are finally sorted out its the t/dissolved solids i don't get to check until i take my monthly water check tests in.
Ahhh now that i have bored you with my excitement over my spa products, im going to get some yummy coffee and dip some strips and look at the pretty colours LOL... have a good day and thanks for listening.
Kontan.... I have to ask, did the postie see you chasing him.... did he go faster... and mostly did you have a prepared speech to tell him , if by chance you did stop him ? LOL tooo funny

Well, I'm here. Reluctantly. Some parts definitely wake up faster than others. I got past my first trauma of the day: Yesterday my coffee maker lost its mind or was possessed by a mischievous gremlin. It was empty and unstarted, but reporting that the coffee was done. So I unplugged the deranged appliance not knowing whether or not it would behave itself this morning by producing life-supporting elixir. It has now performed admirably and so I know that I will survive.

I was in earlier - everyone was still sleeping so I was trying to let them have their well deserved rest... Getting ready to climb the ladder and clean gutters this morning...

Ah gutters - what fun! Since I'm a bit of a robot freak and have little electronic helpers scattered throughout the house, I picked up a Looj from IRobot for my late husband to hopefully make the task a bit more fun for him. FAIL!! It's the only bot I've ever gotten that was a total wash (pun not intended).

morning, all.

I usually don't get to check in during the mornings, cuz I have to rush out the door so early. Today, I'm heading for the yearly mammograms, so a little time to spare.

You're lucky rave, my "coffee maker" is the jar of instant on top of the fridge because I haven't had the time to replace the one that died of overuse abuse.

I do not have that problem around here kia - I have 5 coffee pots - one in the kitchen, one in my office, one in the RV, one in the workshop, and one spare for when we have guests and 12 cups are not enough. The ones in the office and stuff are only 4 cup coffee makers, but if I have a breakdown it is a good backup...

We just picked up one of our thermal coffee makers the other day at a clearance sale - $15 for a $120 coffee pot - I love good deals - the carafe alone is worth more than $15...
