Now some original threads are being reopened and the part 2 closed . . .

Depends on who is in control . . .

But this is insane - whoever is in charge needs to stop all this . . .

I can see opening a new thread, but why change back to the old thread? That would be horribly confusing. I hope it doesn't happen here.

Actually - I do hope they put chit chat back to the original . . .

Already have a difficult time trying to keep up with everyone, especially all the new Voltians as it is and now to have a Chit Chat part 2 . . .

Well just too much for me . . .:(

Just treat it like a new page of chitchat. Just like when we changed from the old, first format to this one. Do you look back at old messages a lot? I just keep reading on from where I left off last time. If I need to look back to find something, I do a search. Of course, if that's the case, now there are more threads to search. It may be hard to remember which thread the item I'm looking for was in. But I rarely do that. I doubt this new thread will be a problem for me. In fact, it hardly seems different.

Oh I hear ya . . . And in reality no problem . . . Just very tried of all the different/same threads . . .

And -BTW: I have had to subscribe - unsubscribe - subscribe - unsubscribe - to about 30 threads already . . .

Really? On ECF? I don't go elsewhere on ECF much, but when I have, I've read and posted with no problems. I didn't have to subscribe to every one. Are some threads on ECF special and require you to subscribe?

Well, actually you don't. I never subscribe to a thread. When I come on ECF all I do is click on the "What's New" button at the top and then select "My Posts". I can see at a glance if anything is new on any thread that I've posted on.

It all depends on your settings . . . And yes there are a couple of places you need to subscribe to if you want to participate on a regular basis . . . :)

In settings "My" default is any thread I've posted to I'm also subscribed too . . . And there are some threads/forums I do subscribe too to read what's going on or find out stuff - updates . . . And of course Contest - really like entering Contest (except some that you know you are NEVER going to EVER Win ) . . .
