I was there for it, and I adjusted easily, but then later I went out to ride Penny, and when I got home, the new thread didn't work, and we were back to the old one. Some minor confusion, not bad.
I just saw a flash of lightning. I feel we're in for it, since it's been very hot and muggy today. In fact, just a walking trail ride made Penny so sweaty that she got her first bath of the year today. Now it'll rain, and she'll roll in the mud, and we'll be back where we were last week and all winter long.
I'm glad this thread is all straightened out now. If they want to do that in the future, I suggest Guest come on and tell us ahead of time what'll happen and why. Then it would make a lot more sense to all of us.

The only downside that I've noticed to being retired is that Friday is pretty much the same as any other day. It used to have a magical quality to it.

Hi ya Rave... go on go have a nap.... someone will be round shortly. I have been reading a lot lately on all thats going on with lorillard and feel a little queesy on what this could mean for the future.
What started as a diy project to save some money and have some mixing fun... looks more and more like it will turn into a necessity... for how long we will all have the option to import nicotene , well with all the news flying around at the moment , im feeling a little uncertain on how long i will have this luxury. So i made a larger order just to tie me down for a while.
I made a straight TPA caramel and im a happy camper. Who wudda thought i could be a one flavour girl ...... LOL One flavour in the bottle that is not one for the whole day.... exception to SI's RY4 though, somedays its just ry4 all day all night.
Anyway just poppin in, chattin away, checkin , scribbling away and chillin out.

I'm getting alarmed by everything that's going on. Last night I purchased 1000ml of 60mg to parcel up and freeze to add to my already existing hoard. But - nic only has a freezer shelf life of anything from 2 to 4 years, so what happens after that? Can't DIY your own nic. Frankly, I need it for nerve pain caused by my MS, so lowering my nic is just not an option. I tried that once, and don't want to go there again. grrrr....
I can't see a happy ending, with both Congress and the FDA engaged in trying to "protect" us. On the other hand, would they really regulate ecigs out of existence when they offer such a wealth of revenue from taxation? The only thing I know for sure is that common sense will be no part of the outcome.
I didn't know the shelf life of nic was only 2 to 4 years. Even so, I think I'll get some to stash in the freezer. Too bad someone hadn't figured out how to freeze dry it. I've never tried DIY but I guess I could learn.
Well Rave, I have about 8 months supply now in the freezer - I figure we will have a few months notice before the big move, so that is when I would push the big buy button - maximizing shelf life. Only got two bars on the Internet over here - hope this goes through...
I'll probably just go back to analogs. That seems to be what the government wants us to do anyway. It is all so depressing to me. Finally found something to help me quit and now people can't leave that alone. It is enough to make you want to smoke!
I'll go black market. I don't have the facilities to stock up and DIY, and I don't want to go back to tobacco cigarettes.
Like I said, I hope the powers that be at SI dig in and take a stand. If they don't, I at least hope I'll be able to find them in the black market. SI and ECBlends for my liquids.

Our "lawmakers" seem to have lost focus for the things that really matter. They want to outlaw ecigs and let tobacco live on - how the hell does it make sense to kill potential lifesavers while keeping alive proven killers? As with everything else these days, priorities seem really messed up with the loss of all common sense.
