Yea, I have found a few things like that on Google Earth - Camel trains and such...
What impressed me was that there were so many man-made things that were supposed to be seen from overhead. This makes
sense in the age of flight, but what about those ancient ones? I know, I know, they are supposed to be made by space men or some such idea, but if not, why? Also, there's something about human nature that wants to make pictures on the ground. I remember when I was a kid and had to mow our yard, a task I hated, to make it more interesting, I'd mow the shapes of horses into the lawn, stand on a hill to admire them, then mow
through them to complete the job. Was I actually following that instinctual drive to do that, or was I just amusing myself when I had a boring job to do?
