Sitting down, facing forward.
I did mean to say I hope you have as good luck with the new truck as you had, overall, with the old one. I've been lucky because my son is a used car dealer. I can pick things up at great prices when I need them and it looks like my wifes Accord, 98 with over 220K on it, will need replacing in the relatively near future.

I'll check out your video on my desktop machine a little later, Rave. The Rancocas has a hisotry of bad flooding. Last year we had some extended heavy rain and it rose almost 10 feet here. The folks down near the creek were parking their cars up my way for about a week and using flat bottom boats to get home every day. I felt sorry for them, but that is what they have elected as their way of life so if it makes them happy, it's fine with me. Maybe I'll get out there with a camera a little later today or sometime this week and get a few pics for here. It is really pretty.

Keep plugging away Konstantine, it always gets darkest before the dawn!

Well, after dumping $2000 into my truck over the past week, it still didn't run right. She was good to me though, 10 years old and 273,000 miles. Finally broke down and bought a new truck. No more worrying about breakdowns. Now I just have to worry about making truck payments for the first time in 9 years.

I've found over the years that the average life span of a vehicle is about 10 years. After that, you need to spend so much on repairs that the same money could be payments on a newer car. Instead of a brand-new car, though, I like to get one that's a couple of years old, gently used. That car will behave like a new car, but it will cost a lot less. I think you made the right choice not to keep sinking money in a 10-year-old vehicle.

Nice to hear ur amazing story, its a testiment to ur character .... I never rode bikes much, other than my frends letting borrow theirs. I want a motercycle bad as kid but my parents like lots of parents would not let me have one. As i got i older i figured i was sure to kill myself if got one. Today i am pretty safe on the street in car. i realize now racing should not be done on the public roads but i was pretty stupid when younger. i all ways wanted to be either Race Car Driver or Fighter Pilot. i have done some flying but thats another story. Anyhow, I try not to be stupid with stuff, but i just all ways liked going fast. I have never really raced, but would love to but it is an expensive sport. i autocrossed a few times as kid. Mazda also had a rev it up event, which was a promotional competition with different classes, in different citys and each city winner would race at leguna seca .... i think for a car. Any how in Atlanta i entered novice, and kept 1st place in my novice clas up to the end of the day, but someone beat my time at days end and i got 2nd. Still my kids where with me and i can tell the story. It was basically a slow course set out in pylons, my guess top speed was 50 to 80 mph. & the car was a miata with a roll cage, modified brakes and tires i think. It was tough not knowing the course. It was on the a white board, with some videos of it, but things like brake points and the line all a guess. they had a diagram of the course then i think u did one lap slow for familiarization, then only two laps for time. Anyway, something about getting the best time on a track is addicting too. I like speed but after i hit 40, i got more careful , i found things just take longer to heal. If i had money i think my youngest son could race, he has both talent & desire, but i dont and he is into Tennis which is safer.

I used to play GT4 on the old playstation II, i guess its an ok racing simulation ... well play is mild word, i was addicted to it. So i guess i got a virtual Nurenburg, Leguna Seca & Monico etched in my mind. Any way i know Leguna Seca Virtually in my sleep, & i think its one of the best courses in the world. Anyway i am amazed when i speak to any racer. Also ur recovery both from the accident and the recovery from the pain killers are amazing ! i think they are both things most peaple could not do ... Thank you for tell us ur story & I hope u enjoy Voltville and visit often :)

If you ever get this way, the car racing track at Watkins Glen, NY, has a program where for a reasonable fee, you can drive your car on the track. This is on days when there's no race. I'd think that might be interesting to some wannabe racers.

Good Morning Volties!

I'm back from camping now. It was only a couple of nights, but it felt mighty good. It was kinda funny because I chose this weekend to go camping because I knew that my son would be having out of state guests for the weekend. I thought it might be nice for me to make myself scarce so that young people could be young people. Now Dave has his own campsite setup on what will be his property when I sign it over to him; but the younguns ended up coming down to my camp and joining me Saturday night. That made me feel awfully good.

Beautiful photos. Some reminded me of Monet, especially the last one.

It does eventually quit pulling that garbage. At least, it did with me. Don't lose hope!
I don't know if y'all are still talking about this at all (30 pages behind!) but this weekend has been the pits again. Has anyone noticed a connection between no flavor and allergies kicking in? I didn't before but that sure seems to be the case today.

Lizzie, the first thing I noticed about the CE3s was the fantastic vapor...big clouds of vapor.
I got too impatient to wait any longer for these. I ordered some Kanger M3's from Stormy's Vapor Celler - they look like the same thing (sorta) but no needle needed! Anyway - I really like them! Next order will be for a few packages as it's $4 flat rate shipping ...

Rave - sorry I missed the party. Congrats on the 3 year anniv! Umm - How long would you guess before you didn't notice so much disappearing flavor???

Good morning. 555 in a clearo on a blue X2 with coffee. :D If I gave up vaping and drinking coffee, I would have time for some fascinating hobby, but I wouldn't enjoy it as much.

Lilac, trust me on this, there just ain't no hobby fascinating enough to give up vaping and drinking coffee. :D

Hate to say it, but I think it took about a year. The gaps between the episodes lengthened greatly in the last six months though.

Thanks for the Congrats!! :)

I have to agree that it isn' too hard to stay of the cigs. I keep putting off getting off of here 'cause I'm dripping some new flavors, new to me anyway, from TVR. I am surprised by the "snickerdoodle" sample, it ain't too bad!

Is that a "sweet sugar cookie" flavor w/ a hint of cinnamon? Sounds Yummy! Umm - Who is TVR? Might like to try that too! :)

Marlou...I need to read back but wanted to ask HOW WAS EMMA THIS-MORNING & WHEN WILL SHE BE HOME?

Emma is still at the vet's and the doctor hasn't called me yet. I felt bad when I left because she wanted to follow me and was tugging at the leash they had on her. I should be hearing something soon.

Rave your property is stunning, soooo tranquil, I could sit there for hours...then I'd have to go home & keep coming back cos camping aint my thing LOL
Thanks so much for sharing!!!

All I'd have to do to come back home is hike a few acres over. The campsite is my other home AT home. Weird, huh?
