Me too, but here in the US it's really hard not having them. Can't rent a car when yours breaks down (that's the one that scares me the most), can't get a hotel room without leaving a huge cash deposit, and a bunch of other things I can't even think of that have messed me up over the past few years I have really bad credit with no steady income). Gift cards for online purchases are great, but they're $5 a pop...
$5 extra to buy it? I didn't know that. I've thought about that route.
Hard when credit stinks ... ours went south when hubs had a massive heart attack 10 years ago. (should have had a horse then ...)
Hope you had a better day today Raynes. Apart from on here do you have anyone who gives you support?
Probably like a lot of people on here I dont have anyone who gives me support, I dont know any other vapers & have never seen another person vaping. I talk about my vape gear a lot at home, I think my family are fed up with listening to me ramble on but I keep chatting and every now & then I'll make a big statement " Wow I need to pat myself on the back for doing so well & not smoking". I get a bit sarcastic at times but usually get some kind of mild response. lol.
I wonder who others chat to to give them support...I rang my Mother once but her memory is fading & she hardly remembers me even telling her that I didnt smoke anymore so that wasnt very helpful at all.....
You guys have NO idea how much "therapy" just reading thru the last 10 pages has been! I love this thread - there is always SOMEthing to chuckle about. I remember after the 1st month my brother asked if I thought I was going to be able to quit. Umm - I thought he was talking about tar-bacco!
Curious: anyone else find they are less "up-tight" because they are not having to plan out just when and where they are going to smoke every single day? I used to smoke 5-6 just getting ready to leave for the day - never mind getting there! (That was when I had an office job.) The biggest problem with vaping was remembering to check with Beethoven to see if he actually needed to go out vs wanting to follow me out!
I know how that feels, I have to share with 5 others ...must get a laptop!!
Hey, We went to the dog beach today & a twin of your dog was there, I wish I'd had my camera with me, but it did make me think of you & all the other volties
Speaking of Bubs - I was surprised to see a couple Cavies last week in our local small town too!
Funny how that happens. Never see a ____ model car ... until YOU get one!
Been a bit of the forums the last week or so. Work and life in general have been kicking my ..... Still vaping away and looking forward to the new stuff coming from SI. My X2 batt is just kicking ..... I have been lighting up my X2 clearos too. Come to think of it, I haven't filled a carto in a week or two. Eep. What the hell happened? Haha. Loving life, working hard and keeping off the analogs.
Best wishes to everyone!
Glad you could pop in - Congrats on the STAY! Surprising how quick the time seems to go ... pretty soon you'll have been off for a year!
Well that's a matter of perspective, for me it was fun at least up until I got handcuffed for the first and last time. My trip to the police station was in the back of the police car, which was no fun at all but once there I was the talk of the station and most of the cops made a big joke out of the fact I was 45 years old and still doing foolish things like that (their words not mine, foolish indeed). The judge I had to go in front of to post bail was not amused at all and gave me a
real ... chewing which I'm sure he soon realized were wasted words. They threatened to revoke my drivers license but since I had a pretty spotless record they just decided to make me pay a hefty fine. The cop that pulled me over told me if I had kept going he would have not chased me because they have a policy I wasn't aware of that forbids them to pursue anyone doing 100+ MPH due to the danger it poses to other traffic
(now you tell me). $500 of the fine was for towing my bike back to the impound lot and $300 of it was for storage for the 3 hours I spent in custody waiting for a Judge to come in and set bail. All in all I came away with an education (never pull over if under those circumstances again) Sport Bikes are allowed to mount their license Plates up under the rear fender where they are next to impossible to see, check, did that. Ride with a friend to go ahead of you and make sure the road is Smokey free before attempting to do it again. So it wasn't a complete waste of time and money. would I do it again? cant anymore. Did I do it again when I still could?
I'll take the 5th on that.

This is my street rocket which is still in the garage but I can no longer ride it because I can't bend my back anymore. So I am relegated to my Harley Ultra that has a more conventional seating position. Oh well...

Nice bike! Yeah - I can relate to the chew job (a little bit) ... and don't yah just LOVE 20/20 hindsight! LOL! The other possible outcome to not pulling over: they could have been waiting at your house ... That's what happened earlier this summer to a DUI driver that thought he'd gotten away. That was around 5pm and it was a reminder to "Pay Attention!" when your just driving down the road! 3 cars blew through the stop sign (less than 1/4 mile to "T"bone) on a fairly busy county road - the last 2 being LEO's.
My favorite speeding story happened a few years ago, like about 40 or so. A friend had gotten a ticket for speeding, 60 in a 50, and wanted company in court so I went with her. The guy ahead of her, when the cases were being called, plead "not Guilty". The cop who wrote the ticket was in court, of course, and testified he clocked the guy at 135mph. The guy then got on the stand and said "it's not true I was doing 135, my speedometer only said 120!" Stupidity of a teenager, $500 dollar fine for him, priceless laugh for a courtroom of people.
LOL! Just a couple years right!

Funny! ... open mouth and remove all doubt ... 8-0
I'm lucky my Mom and I are fellow vapers but we do get that crap from my Godmother. When Mother had her stroke and closed heart surgery she decided to ask her cardiologist about her quitting smoking. The whole time I'm thinking your 74yrs old why go through that stress and risk another stroke? Dr Bartolett recommended the e-cig to us. So you can tell your Mom to relax its Dr approved
Yup - What she said! Up in our neck of the woods, our area is tied into the Mayo (clinic - Rochester ) Health Systems - 2 different docs told me they thought it was really great. One thought the "possible tissue damage from pg/vg was so minuscule compared to just one tar-bacco."
Quick, RUN, before Star tries to talk you into CRAB JUICE!
Where did you get your cheesecake?
See ... you can't help but find something to chuckle about here!
You'll want to use this:
http://www.ecigexpress.com/ejuice-calculator.php
It's invaluable. Use it everytime I make a mixture. Tells me exactly how much of each ingredient to use.
They seem pretty decent to deal with too. I picked up a few flavors here too - Flash (for extra TH) - Double Dutch Chocolate - Capella brand; Desert Joe or Ship?; I used the flavors to doctor my vapes a little here and there. Love SI's Choc - but some days it's not quite enough - enter Dbl Dutch!
It was great catching up again! My first time and subsequent visits - I'm amazed at this group!
Between the forum and horses - I may just outlive my mom! Don't get me wrong - I love her ... but I have no clue who I picked up the 'must be organized to function' skills from! Have a great night / day!
