It's tough to lose your pets. Sorry about your horse Rayne. Thinking good thoughts about the doggy.

A grandkid. That's pretty exciting!

Doggy is going to be OK. I just have to figure out how/why he got a urinary tract infection. Ugo never acted any different maybe he and I didn't catch it b/c male dogs mark their territory even when neutered or mine do anyway. No wt loss I mean nothing changed in his behavior he started urinating what looked like pure blood and he went to the vet.I palpated his flanks everything I could think of.
I lost my first Rott, she was 13yrs old to osteo sarcoma. Its a slow growing bone cancer. She started having symptoms when she was 10. My vet and I thought all that time given her age it was arthritis. I thought her hip jt was deteriorating and kept giving her arthritis meds then she became paralyzed. For yrs I beat myself up over that (like I have x-ray vision).

Dont beat me yet uncle but hugs to ya!! I know it cant be easy when frustration sets in. Keep ya chin up or I just may have to come there and hug ya till ya do. Seriously though we are here for you!!

"YOU" are an absolute "Sweetheart" and I could never ever "beat" Ya' for saying that. . . However, if it meant you coming to the states and I would get that "HUG" from "YOU" personally, I just may have to stay "fraustrated" ;) untill you get here . . .

AND - Yes, I know people are here for "Me" (as I am for them) and that's why this thread will always be "Home" . . .If it wasn't for the majority of the people here, especially when I first joined ECF and after finding the VOLT - I would have not felt free enough to say what I said . . . More importantly, I probably would have been long gone and told everyone to just :censored:

Hey - all anyone has to do is read my "Welcome" to everyone in the Newbie Thread to know that about "Us" All anyway . . . ""WE" are the "Volties" & "Voltians" . . . "WE Do Stick Together" . . . and support one in other even though "Fraustrating" times too . . .

So THANKS - for the {{{{{ HUG }}}}} although it is via "cyber-space" and right back at Ya' too . . .

Just for "YOU" . . .

@To Everyone Else - Again THANK YOU for the information, feedback, and words of "Encouragment/Support" - I really do appreciate them . . .

@ "Tina" & Raynes" - SO nice to read that things are getting better . . .
AND - Congratulations "Raynes" or is that only "GRAND-MA" now . . .

Good night Raynes, My Mom came down to visit, and i talked to her a little about when she rode as young girl (preteen really). All my horse loving friends made me think of her riding, Mom and i never really discussed it before, so it was nice conversations ..... Hope ur week is great :)
I'm hoping you will one day join your friends if its just a pony to love on.
My Mother went to Buffalo Park with my son and his family and they have horse rides there. She rode with them. Hasn't been on a horse in 50yrs and RODE. The fever must have hit her again, or a miracle has happened, maybe just seeing her 2yr great grandson ride, I don't know but she has now decided that she can "fix" me so I can ride again. So the next time I visit we are supposed to go to Buffalo Park and see if they have anything that I can possibly be able to mount. If I can stretch to mount I can learn to ride again. I know it will have to be atleast 13h no more than 14h and I don't have one that short.
Just thinking about it gives me shivers of anticipation to think that MAYBE just MAYBE I will be able to just sit on a horse for even a few secs again. It would be worth the pain to me just to do that just one more time.

"RAVE"

Is Back & In The House ! ! !

BTW: I guess "You" can tell I'm HAPPY when I see "Rave" around and posting . . . ;)
Oh - And No One take that as a "snub" - I do care about what is happening with everyone and I really like reading what is going on in your lives . . . I just have been coming by and lurking mostly for awhile and not really wanting to post much unless I thought I needed to add something into the conversation . . . I hope you all understand . . . :D

So sorry to hear of your loss, Raynes! Congrats on becoming a Gran again and for grabbing that X2 instead of the analog! :)

Thank you ALL for the prayers and hugs !! While I was away last week taking care of my Mother and my Godmother,I lost one of my horses and now one of my Rotts is sick, and after I got back from the vet's office today and my daughter calls and tells I'm going to be a Gran again. Soo with the bad stress there is good stress and if I could figure out how to do it I'd have a country and western song hit !!
BUT instead of reaching for a cigarette,I reached for an X2 that HAS to count for something.
Many thanks for allowing me to vent and for all your support

Rayne, my oldest male cat came down with a UTI years ago with no warning signs. Saw little urine spots here and there, not really big ones, and ended up taking him to the vet. I know cats are different than dogs, but they gave him fluids and recommended new food for him for a while. Hope it's all as simple as that for your furbaby!

BTW, have a great day, yourself! :)

You all have a GREAT day and so many heartfelt THANK YOU's for your prayers and warm wishes for Ugo. Hopefully he will get to come home tomorrow.

So sorry to clog the board up with posts! You'd think I'd know how to multi-quote, but I cannot figure it out! So much for going into Information Technology! LOL!

I don't know if I did tell you all here, but I didn't take the transfer to the other school. They would only take 1/2 my credits and I couldn't afford to lose that much! So, I decided to stay where I am at and go for a Bachelors in Information Technology with an emphasis on Security. I did drop down to what they consider part-time, which is one class every five weeks. Their full-time is accelerated and is two classes per session. So, it'll take me two years to finish school, rather than a year. I'd rather be able to take my time and focus on my studies, rather than feeling rushed! Even with one class every five weeks, it can be tough!

Anyway, enough about me! I hope everyone is having a great day and even better, has a wonderful weekend! :)

Consider building a high mounting block like they have at therapeutic riding programs. Make the platform high enough that you could easily get on, and build steps going from the ground to the platform.

Congratulations on the grand-baby Raynes, yes, good stress. Sorry about your horse though ((hugs)), and your dog being sick, a lot to handle at once. And reaching for the X2 counts for a WHOLE BUNCH!! Good job!
Where is that "What he/she said" button?!!! :D Thanks too on the info ... Hope you can find a way to get on a horse again too. Funny - as an adult - it's so NOT the same as the carefree days of being out ridin' as a kid but there is still 'something' there that is sooo satisfying tho!

(((((((((((Raynes)))))))))))) So sorry about your horse & dog. :( Glad you got a little good news to help lift your spirits - congrats! Hope Mom & Gmom are doing OK. You're right though, those are the makings of a hit C&W song - just gotta work a truck into it.
Don't forget the TRAIN!

Good morning, Volties. Breakfast is served.
Oh my! Looks yummy!
We'll have to plan it together next time Lilac. I'll bring my Keurig and an assortment of coffee / tea & cocoa!

Sitting down, facing forward.
Jeesh, miss a couple of days and now I have to read 6 or 7 pages of posts to get everyhting that's going on.

Congrats Raynes on the grandchild. I don;t have grandchildren, but my kids seem to have these little people living with them that call me "GranPa". They gotta be wrong, I can't be that old, or can I, or can you?

Have a fun trip Chucky. With Volt to keep you vaping you should be in great shape and Florida and family are always a great combination.

As long as you keep going with that education Tina is what counts. The only thing that ever bothered me about IT was how fast things move, maybe a function of getting older for me. Like you, I can't figure out, or haven't bothered to look for, how to do multiple quotes, and I was a network admin, but never played one on TV (maybe that's the problem).

Hope your friend is doing well Rave. Good to see you're around, started to wonder when you didn;t post much.

I know I've missed a bunch of other comments I want to make, but I'm too tired to think a lot. Been working on what was supposed to be an easy job that turned into a nightmare. Yesterday started at 05:00 and I got home at 20:30 last night. I'm still pooped.
