I should probably be whispering. Most of you aren't up yet. Just came to see if there was any coffee made yet. I've been up all night long. Sometimes my mind just gets too preoccupied to sleep.

Hmmm - I don't see any coffee - so I'll make a pot. I'll come visit later if I have time. *tip toeing out*

Good morning, all.

Oh, dear. Rave, sorry I didn't have coffee waiting. I was out before sunup grocery shopping...not much traffic and no crowds.

Congrats, JLK. You are doing great. Those of you who have had no sleep, I hope you get a chance to nap. :)

Good morning, Lilac......grocery shopping on a Sunday morning before everyone is up - best time to get it done before the store gets crowded! :)

G'Morning Lilac. My coffee just can't compare to yours - BTW.

How in the heck can you work up the gumption to go grocery shopping before sunup?! I hate going shopping so much that it takes me two or three weeks to work up enough ambition (or desperation) to shop.

LOL My gumption comes and goes. I had been up for hours before I went out. Your coffee is scrumptious. :p

Thanks for the coffee. Need a second cup. Ran out to feed the animals. Pulling weeds and veggie plants to feed to the goats. Saves on hay and I don't have to compost nearly as much stuff. Of course, I do have to compost the straw from the goat shed and the road apples from the horsey. The road apples are miniature, just like the horse, so I like to call them crab apples:) Got side tracked onto cutting the suckers off a bunch of trees. The dogs are last to be fed and they were running towards the back door every time I made a move to the next tree. Oh boy, we are eating....oh, guess not.

Need to keep moving on the fall projects.

Have a great day everyone.

Yeah...I agree with Rave...don't like shopping either (unless its on the internet at the SI site) but getting up and getting it done early before the crowds is a good way to get it over with....ya gotta eat.

I used to shop at 3 a.m. I got a little tired of being stopped by our local cops, wanting to know what I was up to that time of morning. Just shopping at Wal-Mart, Officer. Okay, ma'am, drive safely. I'd love to ask, Where were you, Officer, when that guy almost ran me off the road at high noon, yesterday? You were asleep, weren't you, so you could catch me driving home from Wal-Mart at 3 in the morning.

Hi fellow Volties !! Hope you are having a GREAT Sunday!!!
WELCOME to Voltville to ALL newcomers!!! I can't do the Snoopy dance like Rave does wish I could.Rave and Uncle are just talented like that.
JKL CONGRATULATIONS a wk without smoking is a big accomplishment !! Especially if you were a chain smoker like I was.
Awsum funny how whenever someone says a task is "a piece of cake" it always ends up taking forever to do isn't it? We know your the man for the job and you'll have everything running as smooth as silk in no time. Funny, when it comes to grandkids I don't see myself as getting older,I see it as my kids "paying for their raising".
Tina,I wouldn't want to lose all those credit hrs either. Your a smart cooking taking your time and really learning your stuff instead of rushing,in the end you'll be WAY ahead of the game, more so than those taking accelerated courses.
I have a theory about Walmart, I think most of the customers actually live there, wherever there is a Walmart, doesn't matter what time you go there is ALWAYS folks there.
Reptilr there was a little green lizard on the hood of my truck yesterday morning,it climbed in my hand to let me put it on a tree limb,so cute. I thought of you and Tommie. Are you still enjoying your car?
Sandy, that mounting platform is something to think about,I'll know more what I need after I try riding at Buffalo Park.
I have been tearing up the internet trying to find a dog food that will increase the acidity in Ugo's urine,NADA,Zilch. My vet wasn't there yesterday a new vet was filling in and she is good and she suggested gatorade to increase Ugo's thirst, bless her heart, those things are high in potassium and sodium both so I'm hesitant about doing that.So instead opted for buttermilk to increase his thirst and to feed his good gut bacteria since he is on two antibiotics. What I am thinking of doing is getting some cranberry juice and mixing a little of that in his wet food and see how that works.
You ALL have a GREAT day.!!!!!

Before adding unusual foods (for dogs) to his diet, check with your vet or online to be sure they are good for him. For instance, grapes and raisins are bad for dogs, I heard. You don't want to cause more trouble.

Cookies, either Toll House or Oatmeal Rasin with chocolate chips and walnuts (both have to be homemade, too) are tough to send through ECF, they tend to get broken, so how about a well done and keep on vaping? Until they get a transporter working, it'll have to do, sorry LOL.

that's just my luck, i suppose, lol

Sorry no cookie but how about 3 cheers...:toast::toast::toast:
Congrats!!!

3 cheers? is that like some form of alcohol, like the tv show cheers? rofl

Sorry no cookies, but great job!

Oh yeah. You will see the rewards, and probably soon. Your sense of taste and smell will return. Taste may be hinky for while - Be forewarned. You won't smell like cigarettes to others anymore. Most people start getting their wind back fairly quickly as well. You won't have to clean ashtrays or yellow film from the inside of your windshield either. Of course, you already know the greatest reward of all.

By the way - Welcome! :)

I like PhotoBucket too. Don't even want to tell you how many pics I have stored there. It's just embarrassing!

Hi Volties!

Ok I can't resist, is it the amount or type of pictures that's got you embarrassed?:lol: You can smack me in the back of the head if you can reach that far. I have a form of Tourette's but it only act's up when I'm on the interweb so please excuse my inability to control myself, I can't help it I tell ya!!

Been trying to catch up on all the chit chat, I've been absent for a few days, did you miss me? :rickroll:

hai u guise, i've been cigarette free for a week now, do i get a special cookie or anything? lol

In another week or two you will be able to taste a cookie and everything else too. The downside is you might find out you don't like something you've been eating for years. That has happened to me more than once. When you're sense of smell returns that can be a double edged sword as well.

Either way congratulations on your one week milestone, pretty soon you just forget all about the analogs until you pass someone smoking and then you will realize just how much they stink! Welcome to Voltville and don't be a stranger.
