Welcome back, Bluesman; I'd wondered if you decided we weren't interesting enough.:D
Glad you got patched up and are on the mend. I remember thinking, when Rave was missing, "I bet she's just the perfect person to have around when you're recovering: not too coddling, but a solid, competent presence, and interesting, too." Was I right?
Hope you finish healing at a speedy pace!

Welcome, Bluesman. Hot coffee served all day.

Lilac, I'm told you have great coffee. Count me in.

Welcome Bluesman, Old war injury, gulp, Rave didn't like shoot you or nothin? did she?

I've seen a lot of rave, 1st Officer, but I have never seen her gun. I want to keep it that way; story has it she doesn't miss.

Speedy recovery, Bluesman - great to see you here again! :)

Hey, where's the BB King avi?

Thank you Cindy. Rave votes for my Bill avi. Rave tells me hers is the only vote that counts. Bye-bye BB.

Oh, no, you are more than interesting. I've had some old war injury difficulty for quite a while. It wasn't until Rave offered her care, that I saw noticeable improvment. You are so right - Rave is interesting!

Hey Bluesman, I hope your name refers to my favorite musical genre. The dog is very handsome. Is that an Aussie? I have red Aussie but he looks a lot less distinguished and a lot more happy/goofy than yours. Welcome aboard the Volt train!!!!

Yes, the name Bluesman refers to the only musical genre.

<--- That guy over there in my avi is Bill. He is an Aussie. The photo was taken when he was waiting for a command to herd goats. That's why he looks in deep concentration. Bill is a very talented herder. He is good with both goats and cows. He even tries to herd cats. Bill thanks you for the compliment.

I must protest!

And RenoLizzie - he IS a goofy clown. I would love to see him herd cats.

Rave is correct. When Bill is not working he is a goofy clown. That face all of a sudden changes. I do lovingly call him "the nitwit."

The cats are not at all happy with Bill trying to herd them. And yet they absolutely love him.

I love the herding cats advertisement. Cracks me up every time.

Technically, Rusty herds goats but mostly he runs around like a maniac so we just have him hold them on the goat toy [it's a platform with steps and a ramp] while we worm them or trim their hooves. Penny the Corgi is actually a pretty good little herder and I prefer to use her if I take the goats out back to eat weeds.

The blues is the only genre of music that counts. Never did figure out how music called the Blues makes you feel so good.

WOW! I haven't even started yet, but I'm so in awe of DIYing!
After doing all the math, I just finished ordering enough fixins for about 500 ml of liquid (including 6 Capella flavors that I can mix and match - about 4 months' worth) for around $50! So happy right now! I've been spending about $30-40 a month for just ONE flavor!

Here's what I got:
From Wizard Labs:
60 ml: 60mg nic
250 ml: PG
120 ml: VG
$25.89 shipped

From Capella:
5-Pack Deal: Vanilla Custard, Blueberry, New York Cheesecake, French Toast, French Vanilla
Plus one more to get the 10% discount: Cinammon Danish Swirl
$25.31 shipped

...but now I'm broke again!

Yes, I'll be careful. I already have the lab gear.

DIY is the only affordable way to vape plus you have full control over what goes in your lungs. With all the junk coming out of China I shy away from the juices from there, God only knows what they put in them. Do you have a Nicotine Calculator? if not I will send you one with 160 flavor recipes I got from Scuba Dan over on the DIY Forum. The only thing you need worry about is your hands and eyes the respirators are a wast of money. Once you get the hang of it you can move up to the 100% nicotine and really save some money. Xtreme also has all USA made flavors, don't bother with anything other than USA made or you will be disappointed. I have made enough juice in the last month to get me through about 2 years. I even bought a small refrigerator to keep everything in. Just be sure to let your VG come up to room temp before attempting to mix, that stuff is like molasses when it gets below 40F. :D

DIY is the only way to go. I'm sure you're going to have fun with it Cindy. Capella's Vanilla Custard is something that I love so much I could almost vape it straight. Actually, all of Capella's flavors that I've tried, and that's quite a few, are very good. Over the years, I've narrowed my flavoring choices down to Capella's and FlavourArt with just a couple from LorAnn's.

Good morning Volties!

Hey - Thanks for the coffee, Tina. :)

You know, if there was a contest; and the rules of said contest were: 1. You must post your submittals on this forum - 2. You must number those submittals - 3. Your user name must be Drummerskey......................and we will have a random drawing.............I still wouldnt win.

I was just reminded why I don't gamble, enter contests or buy lottery tickets

Me, too, D. And I live in Nevada so if I go out on the town I figure I'll put my $20 into the machines and not a dime more and come out a loser every time.
