Where do you get all those? I want some "R" rated ones. Trouble is my middle name and I earned it.. I'm just a little off my game today been planning a trip down to the southern part of the state ...We are going to have a meeting in Roanoke on Saturday with all of the State Chapters and then we are heading over to the Hospital to cheer up our Brother who really needs it according to his OL, wait can I say that here? I mean SO, is that better?

I hope that your Brother is doing better now. There is no doubt in my mind that you'll be able to cheer him up. :)

Sitting down, facing forward.
I think everyone's busy elsewhere, Rave. Good afternoon to all.

I generally do the "heavy" cleaning around the house and decided today was the day to really wash the kitchen and bathroom floors extra clean and wax them. So at about 10, I broke out the mop and a cleaner after a thorough vacumming and washed the kitchen and both bathrooms. I then went back and saw the spots that needed "special attention" so I grabbed my trusty Spray Nine and a scrub brush, got down on hands an knees and started working on them. For those unfamiliar with Spray Nine, if you want to clean a car engine that's crusted with grease, get the engine warm, spray Spray Nine on and let it sit for a whle. All it takes is a hose to take off all that caked and dried road dirt and grease. As the old saying goes "It'll take the S off of Supermans cape".

Well the Spray Nine sure did it's job, got those pesky dirt spots off, but it also took off all the wax. Now I had a dilemma, sections with no wax and super clean and most of the floor still with wax on it. Needless to say you'd have to be blind not to see the difference. Well, I ended up spending the rest of the day on my kands and knees, scrub bush and Spray Nine (glad I buy it by the gallon), doing all three floors by hand. I still need to wash them again, with ammoinia, then detergent, then clear water, to make sure they are totally wax free before I can put wax on again. Gotta find a better wax than the mop on stuff for seamless flooring.

Ditto, dear Lilac. I think of all the hearafter theories the one that makes me smile the most is the Rainbow Bridge. What a glorious gallop that would be.
Oh yes - Rainbow Bridge. The best part: we'll eternity to re-connect! I can't recall which pastor I hear one day ... thinkin' Randy Alcorn (love his books) - not to raise a ruckus or debate - but he believes we'll see our critters in heaven - says it's biblical as well.
so - just sayin' ... take what you will and ....

Hope Shamus has a speedy recovery Kia.
What SHE SAID!

I HATE poachers we feed our wildlife here like we do our domesticated animals. I've got to where I REALLY HATE deer hunters for every single yr the hounds that didn't hunt good they turn them loose to starve and no they aren't altered. So we take them in. I live in fear that some idiots are going to shoot my horses since around here they shoot when a limb moves. Last yr a man shot his son thinking he was a deer, the kid was 13yrs old. You can't hike, ride or do anything here during deer season.Heck its not even safe for me to train my horses in my own round pen since they can use those high powered rifles.

Personally - around here we try to stay off the roads during deer season. Too many have bullets going thru the door and hitting someone. 23 yrs ago ... our first season at our place we had a few sheep. Hubs went out to feed them - a bullet whizzed by his head when he was between the house & barn. There is a law about stayin' so many yards or feet away from building sites ... anyway - the game warden stopped hubby thinkin' he was the one he wanted for firing thru our grove (not like there were really many leaves left).

Mitchell must have felt he'd died and gone to heaven livin' with you!
Please - EVERYone - share some more! I'm tryin to catch up - here and in RL!

Distracted driving: brother's boss was on a county road headed to a meeting. He suddenly had to hit the breaks - so did the peson behind him. A "middle-aged" female person (bimbo?) stopped right smack in the middle of ( rolling hills ) the road. Complete w/ putting the car in PARK - no tail or brake lights being illuminated to warn yah she wasn't moving at any speed ... Anywho - he went up to ask what the problem was - nothing - she had to make a hair appointment! He did suggest she stop ANYWHERE else but where she was.

Oh I forget whatever else had popped into my mind ... Great readin'! :)

Blues I love your cow !!! When I out grew my pony (we gave him to younger cousins to enjoy),I saved up my allowance and bought a young cow per my Grandfather's suggestion to sell to one his brothers for his cow herd. I named her Babe, and trained her to ride. It was kinda an accident me coming across the idea to train Babe--my other uncle had a Banty Rooster that would chase me around this log,I got tired of running and hopped on Babe's back.
I rode her with a grass rope halter like they used to bale hay with. Some days we went where I wanted to go,most days it was where Babe wanted to go which in summer was my uncle's lake.
Thanks Blue's for sharing your cow's story. My Grandfather used to save the dairy calves, farmers around here would give them away.
Then my uncle would buy them from him to build his herd. Those calves were the only thing he could rescue without having to listen to my Grandmother fuss. LOL.

Raynes, you always have a great story to tell. Thank you. I enjoy them. Cows are cool!

Cows have always caused me distress...I was never able to get the attention of a cow, to make any kind of a connection. And when you have more than 3 (ya, I know, it's a herd at that point), they're like a mob: they'll walk over you, or crowd you into a barbed-wire fence (it happened), like you don't even exist. Don't hate 'em (they're animals, for God's sake!), just can't be comfortable around the creatures.
When I was younger, I figured that anyone who claimed a relationship with a cow was delusional; now I just assume that they have/know something that I don't.
More stories, Bluesman!

Your hired! Best part is - it's a matte finish - no waxing! When shall I expect you? I'm a little behind w/ helpin' my bro out runnin here and there for parts or takin' him somewhere to get a tractor or truck back home! (and doing his bird chores) :D
Oh you don't have to worry about doin' windows - I love that job so I'll take care of that. Just hurry tho - spose to have highs in the 40's by the weeks end!

Whew, I thought my X2 was toast, just after 3 months of very light use, 3 days AFTER the warranty ran out. Somehow it had turned itself off. Tried the 5-click thing for kicks, and voila! Back in action! :thumb:
LOL! Mine did that not long after I got it. Only I didn't know it was the new one with on/off. It sat for a week while I thought about it. It was a replacement for one w/ a faulty switch at 6 weeks. I recall how I was really wondering what I'd gotten myself mixed up in!
Heather to the rescue! :D

Raynes - You and Blues - if you had the time I think you two could keep us entertained for days! I love reading your pm's and posts!
(Hope things are going well.) I had a pet cow named Skelly - dad said she was a skeleton. Put all her energy into milk. I wasn't near as brave as you. I sat on her - pretending she was a horse while she was in the barn waiting her turn to be milked.

I wouldn't be smiling like your mopping smiley is if I had to get down on all fours to wax the floor by hand AGAIN, after I had just finished doing it the first time! THAT SUCKS! :grr::laugh:

And that's why I have speckly black and gray checkered tile - you can't tell it's dirty!

Great minds think alike. I think I have the same tile!! You can sure tell when it's hairy though. Lexi sheds alllll the time. I have a good shedding comb, but she still produces copious amounts of hair everywhere. Awsum, you made me tired too. confused.gif

I think it's time to go check out that Starbuck's "Blonde" I picked up on the Shopko clearance shelf ... Give it a try and see if it's any good - then I'll try to get some set out for the early birds over here!

Only got in 3 mugs today ... slippin!

Rave - your avi - that scene looks soooo peaceful! Bettin' that's down around your creek????
