Oh, I get it now,,,,,Blues and RAve are TOGETHER  I'm a bit slow sometimes!!!!!!!

This was MY view today!!!!!

The rules won't allow me to post the view I had today. We did a fund raiser for the Wounded Warrior Project that was headlined with a Bikini Bike Wash and Wet T-Shirt Contest. I think we raised almost 5k for them in 3 hours. See we do good things too. In our own way :p

LOL, Konstantine! Keep your chin up,,,,,,hopefully something will come up! Have you thought about an online juice business or something???

I know you do good in your own way, Officer :) I used to do a ride for Toys for Tots every year,,,,,,until the freaking traffic in Miami and most of Florida got so bad we stopped riding our bikes. It was amazing how many bikers turned out for that!

We only do two fundraisers a year and both are for the Wounded Warrior Project. Most of our members are Vets and the Club was started by Vets in 1959 so we do what we can for them like protecting the families of our fallen from groups like the Westboro Baptist Church, they showed up at a local hero's funeral two years ago and found out real quick they weren't in liberalville, I won't go into the details but let's just say the cops that were there to protect them kinda looked the other way. I doubt they will ever show their faces in Virginia again...

Good Morning Volties,

Cafe Verona and Country 24mg to get me going this morning.

Hey, Konstantine - Keep plugging on the job front. I have always hated looking for jobs and find it hard on my self esteem. Remember, just because you can't find a job right now doesn't mean that you are not worthy. The economy just sucks!!!!

Holly - Looks like a great way to spend a day.

1st Officer - Wounded Warrior is such a worthy cause. The Westboro Baptists are so sad and horrible as human beings. Epic fail for them and so sad that they would work to create such harm in the world. Let me say that if there is a Heaven and they make it, well, I just take Hell. Mark Twain said Heaven for the climate but Hell for the company. [Paraphrase].

Need some aspirin after yesterday's workload around here. I got my 4'x8' OSB boards base coated - both sides.

Managed to get some housework done. [We are asking about refinancing the house and I want it to look nice if we have to get an appraisal done.] Frankly, I think the house was pretty dirty since I really prefer to be outdoors in the summertime. Who wouldn't rather drive a little horsey around the neighborhood than do housework???!!!!

Today I need to top coat the 4x8's and clean the garage and vacuum the house, yes, even in the corners. At least I have plenty of aspirin and coffee on hand!

My friend who lives in France is calling at 8 am my time so I have to go feed the animals at the buttcrack of dawn, get another cup of coffee made and have plenty of vape on hand.

Have agreat day, Volties.

Two things I keep my mouth shut about is religion and politics but I feel I must speak out now. First of all those ppl who CLAIM to be Westboro Baptist "church" are not Christians. My son is in the military he was at the Fort Hood massacre on the shooting range the time the killings happened, he also did two tours in Iraq lost two friends there and came down with the Iraq flu and almost died. He's going to be discharged next month. With that being said, I'm a Christian, soldiers have fought and died so I can be a Christian and have freedom of speech that humbles me.
I'll always be a Christian, an American, a daughter and a mother. These things I can't change and as an American my way of thinking is this --if a person has a problem with our National Anthem, or pledging allegiance to our flag or our Constitution they need to leave, no one is forcing them to live here.Soldiers have died and risked their lives for this country and these freedoms some folks take for granted. In no other country would Westboro whatever they are have dared to open their mouths.
Officer,THANK YOU, and your biker friends. Its a privilege and an honor to see you on chat. God bless you all

Well I logged on to tell you guys some great news. I FINALLY got the dog out from under the horse trailer yesterday and found her a terrific home. I took her to my vet yesterday and Dr.Amy fell in love with her and named her Dolly. It was love at first sight for both of them. I don't know what I'm the happiest about Dolly having a great home or me not having to pay any vet bills
