Lizzie,I've been thinking about you and Penny all day. I'm glad that they didn't find anything that couldn't be treated.
Maybe your client had an urgent emergency. Have they always been reliable?

The client finally got ahold of me. She forgot. I arranged to clean her house on Wednesday. This is a fairly new client and I hope they will be reliable. I may call them the day before next time to make sure they are aware of the day I am coming. She seems thrilled to be having her house cleaned. I only have two clients per week since I have no desire to spend too many days away from home and Hubby works 4 days a week and has 3 days a week off. I used to own a large cleaning business and I do a super and very professional job so she better straighten up and fly right or I will quit her:)

I gave Penny her first dose of medication and she seems pretty normal. Let's hope it works.

Reptile spray? What is it used for? How often does he shed?

Now that tommie is bigger he sheds roughly every 3-4months, the spray is a natural product to aid him in removing it easier. Kind of like a moisturizer. I always check his body daily during a shed to make sure it all comes off, as the bits left unchecked can cause problems to toes and tail tips, eyes and so on. Spraying down his substrate also helps put a bit of humidity in the air, making it like a wet tank not a dry tank if that makes sense.
Officer kudos to you on your ride. I dont do nowhere enough riding , leaving the wheels for the summer months. Its been quite a while since i did a big group ride. I cant wait to hear of your banter when your up and feeling better ;)

Lizzie great to hear that you have some medicine for penny. Give her a hug for me

Sitting down, facing forward.
Thanks for the coffee Rave. I kept hitting the "snooze" button this morning and it's kind of cool here, too. So much for that nice, really warm, week we were supposed to have. Hope you're over your saddle sore 1stOfficer, that's a long bike ride if the seat isn't just right!

Nope my Grandfather, you and Rave are remarkable. You knew what Penny and Bill needed and Rave plays with tigers. I'm not even sure my Grandfather would know where to start getting Zanne's respect.
I'm thinking a short riding whip pointed at her feet to keep her head down, and in hand work. Slow, short sessions. What do you think?

There is nothing in my mind that is more remarkable or impressive than those that devote themselves to bringing a better life to the forgotten, the abused, and the helpless. Just sayin'.

I'm sure it will work for Penny. She's going to be fine, she has you to make sure of it.
I'd be more than a little upset with your new client. Did she offer to pay you for the time lost and for your gas going all the way out there?

Oh Rave, you just don't realize what all you really do. When I see your woodland pics they remind me to stop and "smell the roses" I see God's artwork. Your always ready to give advice and support, patient with us newbies. I still go back and relive your Alaska trip.
I see Lexi's pics and they remind me not to sweat the small stuff. You remind me to keep it real. That's the remarkable stuff Rave.

I hear ya on the snooze button but I can't find one on my red bone. Its sunny and pleasant here in Bama. Did you ever get your trailer hitch and the wiring done?

You are all amazing as far as I'm concerned,,,,,, :)

Morning,,,,,,,glad Penny got some medication! Hopefully it works for her! I thought that thing was a snake at first LOL,,,but that house is so cute! I can see Tommie loves it!

I'm going to MA on Saturday, and I am waiting for my order from WL,,,there was a problem with the order, and apparently they called me and I didn't get the message,,,MY FAULT, but now I'm praying I get the stuff by Friday.I think I will,,,,it's going out priority this morning, and it's only in South Florida,,,,,,so I'm pretty sure I'll get it by Thursday.

The new client didn't mention paying for my gas and we shall see if she leaves at least a little extra cash tomorrow. I don't really want to lose the new client because of all the expenses recently. After all, there was vacation and dog vet and car repairs but I also only took on this client because she was recommended by someone I have cleaned for a lot of years at about the same time I lost a client who is selling her house and moving. I am sure she forgot and I am sure I will remember to call her the day before next time!!!!

I sure do love my pets and I try to take good care of them. I'm going to start putting a few dollars a week in a box so that if something happens to me and Hubby, there will be a slush fund to pay for someone to take care of them, buy them food and find them new homes. Just in case:) I sure don't want the animal control to have to take them. I have a couple of people I can tell about the slush fund and I will leave instructions for their care in the box, as well.

Lizzie, if this is a business for you, I'd set some business guidelines and put them in writing,,,,,,,,,even if it's a flyer that you give to everyone before you start,,,,,,

I'd make a penalty if they do not cancel 24 hours in advance,,,,,or you arrive and can't get in. Maybe half of what you'd earn or something. but that's just MHO.

Thanks for asking. I got the trailer hitch on after doing a little machining to get the mounting holes on the hitch to match up to the truck frame. It was supposed to be "just bolt on". I still haven't done the wiring, I've gotten sidetracked putting a remote entry/start system in and that's taking some time, just to make sure I have the right wire to connect to before I go hacking things up. Between rainy days and all the other odds and ends of life, these things seem to take forever to get completed.

OOooooooooooooooooooooooooooo how pretty is that???????

Thank you, Holly. I drove my old one for 15 years. I really wanted a brighter color, but I can live with silver, 'cause it drives great. Ford has a color called Tangerine Scream...that's what I wanted, but I'm grateful for what I got.
