I meant later,,if you do have money.

I have the worst luck with white cars,,,,,every time I get a white car, someone smashes the rear end of me

I have sworn that if I ever buy a white car, it will be painted before it gets off the lot

but I know what you mean,,,,,they cost so much, then there's insurance, et al,,,,,,,,,it usually eats up all your cash to just buy the car~!

Sitting down, facing forward.
My wife wanted an Edge, but the budget could only stand a Civic. Painting it later is kind of a tuff thing to do, door posts, trunk, under the hood and everywhere else that gets a breath of paint at the factory. You could always add some pin striping or racing stripes to "spiff" it up a bit though. (Thinking big, wide, dual racing stripes fore to aft, LOL)

You are all amazing as far as I'm concerned,,,,,, :)

Morning,,,,,,,glad Penny got some medication! Hopefully it works for her! I thought that thing was a snake at first LOL,,,but that house is so cute! I can see Tommie loves it!

I'm going to MA on Saturday, and I am waiting for my order from WL,,,there was a problem with the order, and apparently they called me and I didn't get the message,,,MY FAULT, but now I'm praying I get the stuff by Friday.I think I will,,,,it's going out priority this morning, and it's only in South Florida,,,,,,so I'm pretty sure I'll get it by Thursday.

Make sure you take PLENTY of vaping stuff. Better yet take ALL your vaping supplies. That's what I do. To be without a vape, that's just too terrible to even think about.

Lizzie, if this is a business for you, I'd set some business guidelines and put them in writing,,,,,,,,,even if it's a flyer that you give to everyone before you start,,,,,,

I'd make a penalty if they do not cancel 24 hours in advance,,,,,or you arrive and can't get in. Maybe half of what you'd earn or something. but that's just MHO.

I agree Lizzie. I'd have a contract drawn up. Some people have to be taught to be considerate, besides the fact that this is how you make your living and cleaning houses is HARD work. Her house must not need cleaning too bad or she would have been there. If someone was coming to clean my house, I'd be there with bells on,rolling out the red carpet all the way to their car door.

Thanks for asking. I got the trailer hitch on after doing a little machining to get the mounting holes on the hitch to match up to the truck frame. It was supposed to be "just bolt on". I still haven't done the wiring, I've gotten sidetracked putting a remote entry/start system in and that's taking some time, just to make sure I have the right wire to connect to before I go hacking things up. Between rainy days and all the other odds and ends of life, these things seem to take forever to get completed.

I can relate. Nothing "just bolts on" when I do something like that. One of my automatic waterers messed up so I decided to "fix it". Now I have a geyser. Sure is pretty with the sun shining on it. I shut the water off and called my husband. Ronnie thinks its just a little leak. I'm sooo going to be in the dog house.

I have magic markers in some lovely colors. I brought it home all shiny and clean and the next morning there were paw prints on the hood. Miss Ching likes to lie in the sun and snooze.

I sure do love my pets and I try to take good care of them. I'm going to start putting a few dollars a week in a box so that if something happens to me and Hubby, there will be a slush fund to pay for someone to take care of them, buy them food and find them new homes. Just in case:) I sure don't want the animal control to have to take them. I have a couple of people I can tell about the slush fund and I will leave instructions for their care in the box, as well.

Why not line up people now who would take your pets if something happened to you? That would make it easier.

I have to say, each and every one of you here in "chit chat" are just wonderful people! I totally enjoy reading about the ups and downs, the tragedy and defeat, the uplifting, the photos, and the just plain fun posts. I am a terrible lurker, I can't even remember if I ever introduced myself (I blame the 70's for that). I guess I just felt the need to let you all know that I think you are all great and thank you for sharing so much. I wish I could think of some decent story to post, something, but I'm afraid I am just a boring lurker, lol!

I don't believe for a second that you are boring. I'm glad you are here and as you can see, we talk about anything and everything. :)

I blame the 70's for a lot too - lol! It's okay to stand back and listen in any time you like. I do the same myself quite a bit. It's just nice to know that you're here with us. That's the important part. But when ya feel like joining in, please do so. You're always welcome. :)

I know how you feel. I want a lime green kia. My husband wanted me to get a dark green taurus. Nothing bad about that, I'm grateful to have a car (didn't get it)....but I want a kia soul! Lime green.
Anyway - you personally see the inside of your car more, so accessorize. Get orange....or whatever color you want...seat covers, steering wheel cover, mats, something cute hanging off the rear view mirror. Then you'll get your splash of color without spending a lot of money.
Just my 2 cents.

I lurk, too. Don't always have anything to say. Just want to sit around with everyone for a bit.
