Sitting down, facing forward.
Good morning Voltatics! Coffee is hot and ready and there are some fresh hard rolls (Kaiser rolls for those of you west of NJ) that you can toast in the toaster oven and butter. Jam is in the fridge.

Got a lot to do today to batten down for the storm. We have a lot of trees, some overhang the house, so I want to trim the dead limbs and clean the gutters among a bunch of other things.

ROFL,,,,,I have SIX flavors!!!!

but I am jonesing for a bunch more! I also think I should have ordered MORE PG and VG,,,,,,,only because I'm going to MA Saturday, and I need to bring enough liquid to last 2-3 weeks,,,,,,,,,,I'll probably be vaping less (not my house, I'll go outside unless offered to vape inside,,,,,,,which they might)

but I have 3 30 ml bottles ready to go,,,,,,,and will make another 30 ml bottle of buttery nipple tomorrow.

The TFA Hazelnut/Praline is to die for but the Pralines and Cream stinks.

Yup it's time to batten down the hatches because SANDY is coming in with an attitude. Man I miss the hard rolls from up your way. Down here the folks would think they were stale bread but damn they are good, now you got me craving one with butter and a cup of Dunkin Donuts Coffee... :p

Good Morning Volties!

Thanks for the coffee and hard roll Awsum! I just took Lexi for her morning walk, and could use the warm up. Someone turned the thermostat waaay down outside. Yesterday, it was in the mid-70's. Now, it is windy and freakin' COLD! But - I have no right to complain about weather. Batten down the hatches, everyone out east. Sandy's comin'.

For all you DIY aficionados, Wizard Labs has lowered their prices by a third and has a large selection of flavors. I've only used their tobacco flavors so far, but have some other on the way.

If I didn't have so much stuff in the fridge I might have to jump on that deal, I think I have 20+ bottles of Wizard flavors along with another 20 or so of assorted flavors from other places but now I want a Buttered Roll, anyone have that flavor? maybe you could overnight me a half dozen...

It's still in the 60s here in the mornings but we are already getting some of Sandy's rain. There goes my plans to work outside this morning and I was so looking forward to it, not. :D

Oh man - It's in the low 40's here and tonight it's supposed to get down to 32. I'm not ready for cold. At least Sandy has helped you escape outside work this morning.

Thanks for the coffee, Awsum. Dang, do I need coffee this morning. And a day off!!! Nope, gotta clean a house today.

It is 21 degrees outside and Hubby has started the wood stove before he left the house today. Yeah!!!!

I've been thinking about trying DIY. Maybe I should get over to Wizard Labs and make up my mind about what to buy. What tobacco flavors have you tried Awsum?

Hubby is picking up pizza on the way home tonight. Another yeah!!! I don't have to cook.

We did pizza last Friday and are doing mahi mahi on the grill tonight with a rice/seafood combo that a friend of my wife made for us. We alsways share the cooking duties, I prep everything, then we both kind of make it hot, as it were, LOL.

So far I've tried WL Tobacco Absolute, RY4 Type 1, RY4 Asian, Marlboro and 555. I love the Tobacco absolute and RY4 Asian. The RY4 Type 1 was way too strong, as was the Marlboro and 555. I mixed 555 again the other day, at 2.5% and that was fairly good and I may drop it down to 2%. WL flavors are very strong and you have to be very careful with them, like start at half of the suggested percentage or even less, at least for me. At less than two bucks for 8ml it's not a bad deal at all.

Here is my DIY list so far from Wizard Labs

120 ml each 60 nicotine, pg and vg

Ry4 Asian
marlboro
555
Tobacco Absolute [non alcohol version]
boysenberry
cantaloupe
Strawberries and Cream

I need to get some mixing implements.

I have been saving my empty bottles from juice.

Hubby says he can get gloves for me and that he would help me mix. I have a juice calculator that I downloaded from ... can't think of who just now...

PS I went with 60pg/40vg on the nictine solution

Morning! Only 857 thousand things to do this morning,,,,

most of the people on the DIY WL thread recommend the tobaccos at 1 or 2% . and they take steeping time,,,,,so they tell me, anyway,,,I dont vape tobacco flavors, so I haven't tried any :)

so when is this storm due in? I guess it depends on where on teh east coast you are,,,,,,,,I checked the weather, and all looks good for my flight tomorrow,,,,,,,,so eithher its over by then,,,,or more likely, not THERE yet, because the rest of the week shows rain,,,,,,my poor husband LOL Hasn't been home in 11 years, and it's going to rain the entire week!

I think that's a great list,,,,,,you have some tobaccos and some fruits,,,,,,,I could vape the fruits immediately, so those will carry you while you wait for the tobaccos to steep,,,,,,,,

you'll need some syrynges, maybe,,,,,Wizard will send you two pipettes, but they are hard to see the markings on,,,,,,,,of course, I have old eyes! I recommend at least a couple 10ml syrynges,,,,and maybe a couple 1 or 2 ml syrynges and a couple blunt tip needles. WL has the best price on them,,,,,,,,I got mine at Walgreens and paid 2.50 EACH for them.
