I sure hope you get to feeling better. This cough I have is like a plain old smoker's cough except I'm coughing up stuff. Its the only symptom I have. I'll give it another wk and if its not better I'll go see my Dr. He may have fired me by now I haven't seen him 2yrs

When I went through it, I had a sharp pain just under the breastbone. Most inconvenient when you're trying to clear your lungs.

My morning go to as well....coffee and RY4. I've been trying different liquids lately, but won't change from my RY4 in the morning....and I like Watermelon in the evening. I use to love 555 - hate it now. Not fond of the menthol I bought a whole bottle of, either, anymore. Hoping I might like it later again. Seems my tastebuds are changing weekly....but still love RY4.
Mine still do that. The good thing is now I have enough liquids that I can find something I like. The down side is that when I go back to some of them after they have steeped I thoroughly enjoy them so I don't see me getting down to my goal of 5 liquids.

Thanks for making the coffee, Rave. I'm having a heck of a time getting back on my, so called, normal schedule.

As far as the storm and it's effects, I just posted a monologue over in another thread, "Storms and Safety". As of this morning NJ is back in the Carter 70's with gas rationing on the odd and even system. It looks like it's going to be some time before "normalcy" return to the Great Garden State and the Empire State. Just to add insult to insult to injury, the temps here are dropping and a nor'easter is coming for the middle of the week, just what we need.
Awsum I just hate this for you and Blues and everyone else that was in Sandy's path. If everything there is like it was here when we had that tornado here nothing gets done for politics while people go homeless. Then when the rebuilding starts here comes the real human rats trying to take advantage of those desperate to get back in their homes. Its just heart breaking

Lizzie, I have found that when you mix the fruity stuff if you add a drop or two of Sucralose it really perks up the flavor. You can get the sucralose at any Walmart next to the artificial sweeteners. It comes in a little yellow bottle. It makes a big difference in the flavor.

I got that ethyl malto stuff. Is that anyting like sucrose?

Huh. Here all this time the only purpose I've found for a grill is a great place to hide bags of bird seed where the mice can't get into it. It never occurred to me that I could venture to cook on a grill. That's what campfires are for. :)

I love my grill. The guy that put in our Fireplaces also bricked in a real nice grill off the back deck. Besides I am surrounded by The National Park and if you light a fire you will have Park Rangers coming out of the woods writing tickets. We can only have open fires at certain times of the year and it changes depending on how much rain we have so I don't build fires except in the fireplaces but I will grill steaks when it's snowing.

That sounds amazing. We are in Spring here so bbq season is near. Best bbq I have ever had was at the beach one time. We got our scallops fresh out of the sea and char grilled them. Yum!

Yes,I can see where you live a campfire isn't a good idea at all. There is a sandy place close to a glade where I use to ride my horse and camp out. I love that place there is natural spring there and an underground spring that flows beneath a huge rock on the other side of the bank. One time I got to see a bobcat sitting on that rock. I take the Rotts up there sometimes for a hike.

I just got back from taking Lexi for a walk. My whole world was rimmed with frost and absolutely beautiful to me. When it gets right down to it, my title should be "Freak of Nature" rather than "Resident Wood Nymph". Anyhow, I had to try to capture the frost before the rays of the morning sun melted it away forever. I really am a freak. But - you folks seem to be so accommodating, and put up with my weirdness - so .... I thought I might share:

My camera wouldn't pick up the sparkles. Bummer. :(
