Good morning Volties!

I got an extra hour today. Seems like such a nice deal. However, in the spring, I'll have to give it back. :) :(

Thanks for the coffee Awsum and the biscuits with syrup CatLady! :p

I thought Indiana was one of the sane states that didn't have daylight savings. No?

You are partly right, Sandy. Until recent years some of Indiana counties didn't use daylight savings time but now they all do. My sister lives just across the border in SE Indiana and used to have a different time when ours changed to DST. It was very confusing because she worked in Ohio. My vote is to do away with daylight savings time. I read someplace it's been proven it doesn't save energy. It makes me use more energy......I have 14 clocks to change.

I'm with you Sandy, never did get the whole time change or the logic behind it. Only something that unpopular and screwed up could have come out of Washington. Girl, you got a clock fetish or what?

I don't even own a watch. Since they come on your cell phone I haven't seen the need for one, like I've got somewhere to be anyway. So Sandy either works in a clock shop or the girl needs to get a hobby, wait maybe that is her hobby?

Oh Uncle - You always make me :D Thank you. :)

SO DO "YOU" . . . Especially when you post your photos . . . :D

Matter of fact, I wish you were still going to New Hope to the Art Show so I could possibly see You & Your Art Work in person . . . I REALLY "like" what I saw of Your Paintings . . . Now if I could only afford One of Your Pieces for "My" Collection . . . :D

I thought vaping was a hobby. Maybe you could statr collecting clocks and watches. There was a piece on "Sunday Morning" on CBS today about watches. They have become a sort of fashion statement and are hand made. They showed one that had a price tag of a million bucks, just a tad out of my price range :)

Okay - Given that "SandySu" has already admitted to 14 Clocks and You are saying she has a "clock fetish" or what . . . I "Need" to Know - What constitutes a "Clock Fetish" . . ;)

Because - I just happen to have:

5 - Actual Clocks . . .

16 - Wist Watches

3 - Pocket Watches

17 - Electronic Clocks (that includes: 2 VCR/2 DVR/3 TV/1 Computer/1 Tablet/1 Cell Phone/3 Portable House Phones/1 Microwave/1 Coffee Pot/1 Alarm Clock/1 Car )

 I think that is all of them . . .

Oh and BTW - I still ask people on the street what time it is sometimes . . .

(AND - YES, I have collected or have been given that many Watches over the years - from a simple Time-X to a Swiss "Fortis" Flieger Automatic Stainless Steel Pilots Watch w/Sapphire Crystal that I was given when I gratuated College in '97 and only worn 3 times since then . . . ;) SO - Anyone know someone who might need and want to purchase an expensive watch - it's for Sale :D )

I Saw That Segment Too . . .;)

So - I Guess I'm Fashionable and Don't Have a "Clock Fetish" After All Then . . .

See "My" Post Above . . .

EDIT: BTW - Anyone else remember the 80's when it was fashionable to wear two watches on the same arm at the same time . . .

You know I remember that two watch "fashin statement". To me it indicated that the wearer was incapable of simple addition or subtraction to figure out what time it was in another time zone, but that's just me.

We have an actual wind up 30 day clock with Westminister chimes. We don't wind the chime drive, but do keep the clock portion running, I guess out of force of habit. I bought it to make sure we had an accurate time source during power failures long before we bought the house and the generator. Now it's a fixture, but I still like it, elegant but simple and reliable.

Thanks for the suggestion but to me time is irrelevant and measuring it is for train conductors and people that have somewhere to be. Since I retired I get where I'm going when I get there. Vaping is a great hobby but what do you do with the other 23and 1/2 hours of the day? If it's too cold to ride I am stuck in the house with any number of females that either want money or a ride to the Mall. If I didn't love the Blue Ridge Mountains so much I would move to Myrtle Beach where I could ride all year in nice weather. I'm not old enough to move to Florida yet... :D
