It did give me a lot of respect for the guys on the cameras, especially at live events with lots of motion. It's really a hard thing to do, coordinate focus, zoom and content on the fly. In the "pro world" they have multiple cameras working and a production crew so it is a little easier, but those great action sequences can be a really hard thing to get on camera even then. In my case, I was a one man show but it was limited audience and amateur sports so it wasn't nearly as demanding or critical.

If you watch "March of the Penquins" on DVD there is a section that describes, and shows, what the photographers had to do to get those shots. They almost died of exposure during the blizzard sequence. My hat is off to all of those that do wildlife documentaries, besides being great photographers, they have the patience of Job and be in tip top physical condition as well.

Photographers especially the ones that do wildlife documentaries don't get the credit they deserve. They must really have a sense of adventure

* COUGH * COUGH * COUGH *

Please excuse the interuption in the conversation and any possible damper . . .

Let's just say here that I personally know what it is to be "BANNED" for a "questionable" (according to the eye of the beholder who IMO - just so happened to be "Homophobic") photo that was reported to a moderator . . . AND - As such there is a new policy on ECF about the posting of any photos of people . . .

So - Just as AN FYI: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...05632-change-forum-picture-posting-rules.html

Hi all! From lil bit I read a bunch of pages back - sounds like most are doing well; some 'all things considered'
The homemade bread [pg1398] - back to childhood!

I've been hanging in the rafters with some dog-gone handsome guys! LOL could be their mom! At any rate the new found muscles are screamin - chiro tomorrow [probably a good finger shakin along w/ a Clint Eastwood comment about limitations again!] 1 more rafter would have put us 1/2 wai'm jazzed! Get to start my seasonal job on Tues! Earn some more moolah for vape mail!

Take care - have a great evening!

This is a "family" forum after all, but then again......maybe some "air brushing" would help BEWG

Pretty sure the rules say you have to be at least 18 to be a member and unless the word dysfunctional precedes the family part I have my doubts about the family rule. Besides what kind of a guy do you think I am?

I loved that movie. Yes, I saw the part showing how they got those shots. Quite amazing. People from here go and work in Antarctica - we have some scientists there. They have discovered some amazing things down there. Like a fish that makes it's own anti-freeze protein to stop from freezing up.

Well I had quite the afternoon. Some-one rear-ended my car on the way to the supermarket after work. Fortunately just some bumper scratches. But it did leave me feeling a bit shaky. And man, for the first time in months I really felt like a cigarette. My carto was dry on my X2. So I broke out the back ups and vaped like a train in the supermarket carpark. Felt a lot better after that. Anyway, insurance have already been onto it and the other driver admitted liability.
I really was so glad I had my vape back ups.

Came home and discovered that the large art deco ornament in the kitchen is a conventional oven. So I threw a chicken in there. Not a live one. Ry4 followed by roast chicken. Ah.

And good morning to the t'other siders.

Just to protect the innocent.....SandySu isn't the one with 14 clocks, I'm the guilty culprit. Not a clock fetish though. lol Some were gifts and I just like neat or unusual clocks. Like the wall clock that plays Beatles music on the hour. The mirrored wall clock in the style of a grandfather clock. The sand dollar clock. The one that's a flat circle sitting on an easel, with lilac flowers painted on it. Etc....

I did buy all but 4 of the clocks, but the music boxes are a different story. I bought one music box, simply because it played Edelweiss. Then my husband started buying me music boxes. Then my family and friends started buying them for me for Christmas and birthdays. Now I have a large curio full of them, plus some left-overs sitting around. But I love every one of them and I did buy a few more of them myself, like the hot air balloon I found in the gift shop at Churchill Downs.

Now I collect batteries and juice.

Sorry to hear you had a dust up with your car. My wife already put a very small nick in the back bumper of her new one backing up, tapped a pick-up behind her not knowing exactly where her car ended. I hope they fix it right for you. I used to do bumper repair and if it's done right, you'll never know. Just make sure they use top quality clear coats on it.

Now exactly why did you put RY4 in that art deco piece in the kitchen ahead of the chicken?

I don't even own a watch. Since they come on your cell phone I haven't seen the need for one, like I've got somewhere to be anyway. So Sandy either works in a clock shop or the girl needs to get a hobby, wait maybe that is her hobby?

I don't have a watch, either. It was Marlou, I think, who had to reset so many clocks.

Well I guess that puts the brakes on my new business idea of selling made in the USA juices mixed by nude or semi nude women. At least it would prevent me using pictures in my Ads on the ECF. It just ain't right! Have you seen the billboards for Victoria's Secret lately? I find selective censorship far more offensive.

Hmmm - you'd be missing out on half of your market there, Officer. Nothing for us ladies? Just sayin' ....

Good Morning Volties!

Thanks for the coffee, Awsum. Man, the time change always messes me up. Maybe the coffee will straighten me out. Not likely though. I've been waiting for years for something to straighten me out, but it looks a little hopeless. That's okay. I've always been the square peg trying to make sense of the round hole.

I don't think I could come up with an explanation as to why I have a bunch of nude men sitting in my garage to the guys in the club. Maybe we could run that part of the operation at your place? I'd be willing to split the profits with you but you would have to do your own hiring. That's a skill I don't possess, I do know a couple of cute sheep.
