I've been on a downer lately and haven't been participating (just lost my pseudo-job), but I think I'm slowly coming back around.

Officer and the rest of the animal helpers y'all are my heroes. I do what I can but y'all rock. Carry on! So I'm still trying to find what atty resistance goes with each flavor profile ie: fruity, sweet, etc on a 3.7v

It is mind boggling at first,I'm so thankful I found this forum and the Volt. I noticed that you are new to vaping CONGRATULATIONS but you still have some trials ahead more than likely,we all go through tastebud changes where you wake up one day and can't taste your vapes. It doesn't last forever but it sure seems like it.

Really! My tastebuds have been all over the place. Menthol is my favorite most of the day vape, mixed up with variations of fruity ice flavors. I thought that was the reason - too much menthol. There have been days that either they all taste the same or didn't taste like anything at all. I was wondering what was up with that.

After reading some of the other threads, I realized it was pretty common and I have to drink lots of water. Something I have to constantly remind myself to do. Right now I have some non-menthol samples that aren't too bad. I may even try SI's watermelon.

The search goes on. Maybe that VV PV will help these tastebuds too... maybe? Possibly?

I did nothing but menthol for my first couple of months (even though I started craving other flavors after day 5). I think when I finally broke down and got my first sampler 5-pack from Sweet-Vapes, I was so thrilled and relieved that it was like a flavor explosion in my mouth! I haven't been able to vape menthols since. But I have been having a crazy obsessive craving for Andes/chocolate mint lately.

Tongue scrapers are nice to have too, if you're having trouble tasting. And before I started DIYing, I always ordered double flavor on everything...belated welcome, JoAnnW!

I've been thinking about that comment all night and I just have to ask. What does it look like to you? I think it just looks like a fancy version of my X2 1300 chrome Batts except a bit bigger so what has your twisted little mind conjured up pray tell?

With all the rules here I can only use about half of my instigating skills You should see the stuff I stir up on the Biker forums where anything goes, no rules and no moderators. Sometimes when I leave there and come here I end up deleting a post after I realize where I'm at. So many missed opportunities...

Do you use the menthol crystals? they are great for putting a little kick in the fruity stuff. I vape a lot of different menthol flavors, Cherry Cola is one of my favorites.

Thanks! Funny you should mention chocolate mint because I ordered some "manic mint chocolate" from Mr E Liquid that is really good and has a very rich sweet flavor. I could never do it all day every day but it's good occasionally. I never thought about tongue scrapers! Great suggestion.

Don't feel bad for me, I promise you I have had more fun in my life than should be legal, in fact in some states... I never felt I was missing out on any fun by not being seen or possessing any feminine looking or related items, quite the contrary. If I live long enough I am going to write a book because it's a story that needs telling.

I should add that there is no doubt in my mind that I will pay dearly in the next life but I'll worry about that when the time is appropriate. The secret to having fun is not so much Image, I have dressed in jeans, Boots and black leather my whole life not so much for Image but because leather saves on skin when you are sliding across pavement at 80mph. I've found after much searching that the secret to having fun is to find a mate who shares your Idea of fun and the rest takes care of it's self.

Menthol crystals? I think I'm too new for that. Ready made is for me right now. So far, I've been ordering from Mr E liquid's. Their juices are made when you order and some of them have to be steeped for several days. They have an awesome ice collection that contains menthol; such as lemon ice (one of my favorites), strawberry ice and blended fruit ice liquids. When I place an order, they stick little samples in with it. Great company IMHO. Also, I keep a supply of SI's Ice Menthol. That's the one that stopped my cravings for tobacco cigarettes. I plan on keeping that in my collection... that's my "security blanket"

Joanne sometimes a diluted mouthwash and then a lot of rinsing with water until you can't taste the mouthwash helps,also gently brushing your tongue. A strong vape like cinnamon or clove helps to but becareful with those if you are using a clearomizer as they can crack those so I have been told. That's why I only use the basic cartos and b/c they are simple. Rave,Cindy,and the other experienced vapors can steer you through better than I can,I'm pretty much a newbie to. I don't think that a change in equipment is going to have anything to do with tasting vapes BUT I could be wrong.
