First of all down here in the South we use cattle prods we find that is more humane,besides you can bruise or break a bone with a stick.

Happy to hear you're getting the building back up Blues. Heck, I have no idea what half of those alphabet soup problems are, but I admire you for doing what you do. You must be an extremely patient person, either that or have a handy outlet for frustration.

I was busy again today actually working. Didn't get home until 5 and just getting around to relaxing and being a pain. A little trim work, that's molding for Officer. I forgot why we bought a ranch. This was in an upstairs bedroom in a two story and if you want the joints, that's where the corners meet Officer, to be really tight they need to be "massaged". Needless to say using a miter saw in an occupied bedroom wouldn't work out well, so many trips up and down the stairs to get everything just right. If I don't have to putty anything other than nail holes I consider it a success, and this one was, but my knees are killing me.

The job was in Freehold and that made me wish I had a fireplace. There are tons of trees and large limbs down all over the place, they got over a foot of wet snow from the nor'easter. The whole time I was there the sound of chain saws never stopped.

I'm still trying to find out what kind of connector the Itaste uses for charging. The other odd thing, at least it's odd to me, is that they don't sell spare charging cables so knowing what kind of connector it is becomes kind of important.

I was keeping an eye on the Itaste, and when they sold that first batch, I was following the comments on the forum...and then it seemed that everything fizzled. The comments dried up, and as far as I could tell, the Itaste didn't get restocked. I took it as a sign that more work was probably needed, and I quit paying attention. At the time, I was trying some liquids that responded better at higher temps.

Looks like Canvape (in Canada) sells replacement parts for the iTaste, including the cable. Once you have one too, it might be easier to shop around locally for one (like at RadioShack, a computer store, or places that specialize in cables, like SFCable or Mousers). I haven't managed to get any vapor out of the stylus for my tablet despite many, many tries. At least a mini mag is running three volts though!

How is Bo doing?

Thanks for asking. Bo is doing fine. We seem to have gotten his sensitive stomach settled down and will be trying a new vet for his shots later in the month. The original vet sold his practice and Bo and we do not like the guy who bought it. He has the bedside manner of Torquemada.

I've been watching the thread, too. There have been some comments, nothing like what we see here, and most, if not all, seem pretty positive. If I make the plunge I'll let you know how it works out. The idea of a device that can be native to 510 or 808 is hard for me to resist. Maybe it'll be an early Christmas present to myself.

Awsum I'm so glad that Bo is doing so well. I was afraid that the aftermath of Sandy may have upset him. Maybe you'll really like your new vet I sure hope so.

That would be Scrappy - gutsiest little critter this side of the Mississippi. That photo was taken standing right in front of her outside on the deck. She is absolutely fearless. If you coulda heard the sentiments coming out of her mouth at the time that photo was taken ..... well, it would make a sailor blush.

That is one thing that does worry me. At least replacement charger cables are available though. Payment methods just aren't what they are for US vendors though, another downside.

Good to see you are alright and back in the mix. BTW thanks for taking the time to define what all those manual labor terms meant, saves me a lot of time looking them up. I tried that W___ word when I was young but apparently I have a bad allergy to it. Right in the middle of trying it for the first time all of a sudden water or something started to come out of my skin, it kinda freaked me out but I knew from that day forward I would never do that again. Who knows what might have happened, I couda died or something! The world needs people like you that can do those things without risking their lives. Thanks!

I was defining those terms to sperate them from their other meanings, in slang (as if you didn't know LOL)

I don't consider a little physical activity, like doing a little trim work or painting to be manual labor. It's more like an exercise in me mastering the materials and making them do what I want them to do. There is a big advantage to that, paint and trim can't talk back. Now last week I did do some manual labor, on the wrong end of an idiot stick, shovel to most people. But that was by choice for my own purposes. The original owners of our house decided that if they wanted some extra soil for flower beds or whatever it was fine to just dig a hole in the back yard, here and there, rather than order some topsoil. We've been mulching since we moved in and the three year old stuff was just right for fill, about 3 cubic yards of it. That did cause the appearance of water on various areas of my body even with temps in the upper 40s. Can't say I liked it much either.
