Alright Rabbit! You showed us a picture of last year's snow... where's the picture of you in the hot tub... hah?

I could not find a picture of our tub in the snow, I know I have one somewhere on my computer, but here is my (DYI patio and hot tub setup. I just wish I would have bought one years ago. I have had this since 2010 (after I retired) and the wife and I just love it, especially in the winter and in the snow.

I'm paying for working too hard today!!!! Pass the aspirin.

NOt much rain here although it rained like the dickens in Dayton. They are 30 miles to the west of us. Believe it or not, I am watering with the drip system. The problem with our desert is that you have to water even in the winter since it is so dry here. Of course, you can't water when it is freezing overnight so I am watering since this is a very warm storm and it hasn't gone below freezing for two nights in a row.

The worst part of cleaning my house is how fast it gets dirty again. I am proud of how clean it looks but I had to do a cleaning job yesterday on top of the thorough cleaning I gave my own house and that was too much for my poor little arms and shoulders

I have a bunch of new liquids to try this weekend. Fun!!! I can try the with my new Nanos.

I have to comment on my DIY. I am cheap Lowes had a sale on patio blocks at 88 cents each. The area was previously leveled when I had to install a new septic system, so I decided to lay the cement blocks myself. It took two weeks and my back was sore for another two weeks recovering, but I did save a TON of money. The tub is a small 4 person tub with a cover that just folds back, very convenient, and it is not a top of the line tub, but has been very functional so far.

In that same DIY line of thinking, I am going to start making my own juice soon. $8 to $20 for 30 ml for juice, when you have already invested $200 in batteries, chargers, clearos, nanos, and cartos makes this an expensive way to quit smoking. I just need to do more research on the best place to purchase my supplies, and flavors (which by the way are actually very inexpensive).

PS: Debra, Glad to see you have your AC working and have cooled down. Since I have never visited Austraila I did not realize it was so hot on the east coast. I did know you have vast deserts in the west, and Roos (Love those Roos).

thanks white rabbit..yes ive never liked Queensland summers...our winters are great...only reason I stay...is for my family...who love hot weather...I lived on a bushand 40 acres with roos for pets..&..possums were my only friends....for months...I did some serious soul searching.....I live near steve irwins zoo now....it was little bobs birthday today...hes a little steve all over again....CRICKY!!!!!

Doing fine, Debra. I was glad to see you got the AC. Your weather sounds hotter than what I get here. It wasn't till 1980 that I first lived in a house with AC. We used blinds to block the sun and exhaust fans to draw in the cool night air. On those nights when there wasn't any cool air it was pretty uncomfortable. On those days you did an imitation of a slug.....didn't move much.

No AC for me until 2004, and then only because it was medically imperative. Lots and lots of ceiling fans!

And to everyone else, I hope that you all are having a good day!!

Defintely not fun at -10C plus the wind is always blowing, hard, once you get past about 100 meters.

Towers here in Greece are not that high, not needed cause we have high places like mountains 2000 meters high, so only a 56 meter tower is enough but the conditions above 1500 meters are always strange.
