I love this song, too! One of my favorite Beatles songs, in fact, and it's been on my mind to share it for a few days. You must have picked up on my wavelength.

I've been known to do that. That may very well be my favorite Beatles song.

Coffee is hot and strong. There is hot water and Tazo assorted tea bags. I haven't any pastries or sweets this morning.

Oh boy, all four of my DIY tobacco flavors are delicious!!!!! I made them on 12/1 and tried them today. I've been letting them steep. All of my fruity flavors are pretty tastey as well. Yippy.

I still love my SI flavors - 555 and Ry4 are complex and wonderful flavors but it is fun to know that I have created something vapable!!! All by myself - with some help from a bunch of people on the website and all their recipes and advice.

Could you PM me with the recipies or post them in the DYI section and let us know. I like tobacco flavors.

I say it's one of my favorites, because how could I choose? I like a lot of Beatles songs. They were a great group. Granted, I never was caught up in Beatlemania like some of my contemporaries, and in fact, I wasn't all that impressed at first. I mean, how inane is "She loves me, yeah, yeah, yeah"? (I know, heresy, right?) But here's maybe the first one I really liked, and I think it may be a bridge from those early songs to their more sophisticated ones that came later. The Beatles had some definite high points, but they had lows, too. IMHO, this wins the Most Inane Beatles Song award: The Beatles- Why Don't We Do It In The Road - YouTube If anyone thinks differently, please try to convince me. BTW, the comments under this YouTube version were pretty amusing.

Are you sure that was the low point because I was pretty sure it was "We all Live in a Yellow Submarine".

I wish someday I could ride a cutting horse. I bet it's harder than it looks. The good ones make it look easy. But I hear once you've picked out the cow, the horse does it all; the rider doesn't try to direct him. So it's just staying on during those quick turns and dodges. I was wondering if the cow is assigned or if the rider just decides. I think the latter, since he always chose a cow that was beginning to separate from the herd a little on its own.

Raynes, I hope you achieve your dream of doing this again. Maybe someday we'll see you on YouTube during a competition.

Before a rider goes in,the calf is picked for him. If you watch closely in the video the only time you see the rider use the reins is when he heads his horse to the calf. The rest the horse does naturally. I can't tell you of the times a horse has spun me off him when I was learning and what it all boils down to actually is the bond. You become so synchronized that everything is automatic.
Thanks Sandy, I hope I can to,I loved working on Mr Montgomery's ranch cutting out the calves but I was never good enough at it to compete.

Sandy, you weren't one of those screaming and crying girls in the front row with loving eyes for Paul? Or maybe John?

It is difficult to pick a favorite Beatles song. It's impossible to pick my favorite band or musician.

Today is 12/12/12. That should be significant somehow, but I don't know how. Any numerologists want to comment?

I don't know any significance, but there are over 1000% more marriages today than there were on 12/12/11. I thought that was pretty interesting, being married on 12/12/12. But then I thought imagine a child out there, and there must be some, who will be turning 12 on 12/12/12.

So, I'm rolling along here this morning. I listen to "Yesterday", and then I listen to "I guess that's why they call it the blues." Pretty good choice of songs. As a matter of fact, very good choice of songs.

And then... no wait... how did this get in here? "Why don't we do it in the road"? Keeping us on our toes, Sandy. (Skip listening to the song, and just read the comments.)

Yeah. Just like I can't figure which is my favorite, there are low points that are hard to decide, too. "Octopus's Garden" is another one. I still think "Why Don't We Do It in the Road" is the ultimate low point, though.

Aerosmith redid this song and they did a great job with it too

This song puzzles me, where it stands in my like/dislike list. It sounds interesting, but what does it mean? It reads like "Finnegan's Wake" turned into poetry. I think this was made during their drug phase, and it probably made sense to them at the time.
