talking of thread killer....he says I miss the crazy lady. me that is.....so I told him to come back plenty of room for court jesters.....so if your hiding in the shadows squirrel....abracadabra.....we all miss you.....no one breaks a thread.....like a squrriel....can you have squirrels for pets.over there...? do they bite?do they have a dark side?

Yeah - they have a dark side. I've raised three from babies. The first two, Velcro & Clingon, were attacked and injured by crows. Velcro had a broken leg. In another year, I had to raise Sooty when he fell down our chimney. The dark side is that they are thieves! I'd let V & C run around my studio while I was painting, but they would steal things and hide them in their nest. If I was ever missing anything, the first place I'd look is in their nest. All three were returned to the wild gradually and hung around the house quite a bit. I was talking to a neighbor one time when Clingon climbed down from a tree and hopped onto my shoulder. I scarcely even noticed, but the neighbor just about fell over with surprise. Velcro used to come home every day and curl up on my lap for awhile to sunbathe, then scamper off again. The only time any of them bit me was the day I came home covered with tiger scent.

I don't find them to be. If I had to try to compare Sinapse to something I guess it would be kind of like Dentyne gum as far as the cinnamon taste goes and pretty much the same for Sinthol except for the hint of menthol. Neither is an all day vape for me.

That's a relief! I like dentyne gum. Will wait for Sinthol, I have enough menthol atm. Thanks for letting me know!

You said, "Vegetable oil is OK for salad dressing, but not for cooking." What about olive oil? I've been using that for cooking because I heard it had the good kind of fat, not the bad kind. I'm basically healthy, so I don't need to watch my diet obsessively, but I do like to make the wisest choice.

Beans are great, but what about the (ahem) gas? I try to avoid eating beans if I have to go out in public. I read someplace that adding ginger would reduce the gas, but it has never worked. How much ginger? I just added a little. Did I need to add fresh ginger, not the powdered kind? Maybe I should give it a try. I have some bean soup in the freezer and some fresh ginger that needs to get used up.
Sandy, the bad oils to cook with are the ones that are high in polyunsaturated fat (like corn, safflower, Wesson...), because they denature in the heat and turn into trans fat. Olive and nut oils are high in monounsaturated fat, the good kind.

Beans: +1 what Tail and Raynes said. Plus, once your digestive system gets used to dealing with beans, that problem goes away.

Ebay has a ton of analog cases. Stick a thin piece of fabric or foam in there and you're good to go. Most of the styles are for the 100s (100mm long). A 120s case will hold fully assembled 78mm batts + regular cartos, like this:

If you need something longer (like for X2s), opera wallets have the same closing mechanism, but you'd have to cut out the guts (credit card pockets, etc.), and attach something to hold the batts down (like elastic) or play with cutouts in foam. I know they make cases like that for eGos (about the same size as X2s) in China, but finding someone who actually sells them might be tough. But I'm lazy. I'm looking for something that would hold the batts with the tanks attached, and if it could hold a couple, then the charging cable and juice could just stay at home or in the car.

Oh, man I blew it. I bought a jar of cashews! I forgot, I have no will power when it comes to cashews! Should've bought Oreos.

With Oreos, I can just have one or two and be done with it, but dang, I keep putting that jar in the cupboard and coming back for more. Almost half gone already! :grr:

Um, Kico..."nookie?"
Is that your word for "binky"? Cuz to the rest of us, it seems to mean something else...

Under that circumstance, I'd guess that the battery post on the X2 is just a little too low to contact a carto, nano, or clearo. You can use a small pointed object, like a thumb tack, push pin or heavy sewing needle, to gently lift the center post of the battery by prying from one side then the other. Do this gently and carefully and you'll see the post lift up just a little and that's all it takes...just a little. Don't get aggressive and be patient with it. The first time I tried an SI T3 on an X2 it wouldn't work at all so I lifted the center post on the battery just a bit and it works fine.

Definitely would be a great Christmas card.

The pig on the other hand, not so much.
Yup, Christmas card for sure! That deserves to be framed! What's wrong with the pig? OK - toss on a little glitter, he'll be good to go! :)

Cashews. & Almonds! Yummo!
Nookie. Binky. Yup all the same here. LOL! I forgot about the 'other' interpretation! Seems to me there where a couple other terms heard over the years too!
RAYNES - is that you're kitten & pup? Reminds me of Beethoven & Stash growing up together!
Ok - great start to the day! 93 ft of wall to set up for pouring this afternoon. Going to prank the guy who" broke " the trowel handle. When he asks if I have another - going to give a happy "Yes! " and toss a taping knife! Hehe!

I've had to do that to get a couple batts to charge in the pcc. Does that happen from over tightening?

Have a great day Volties!

Blues! Your post was the nicest possible way to start the day. It's great to see you're feeling well enough to get on here and "talk" to us.

You've been missed, and in our thoughts and prayers. I hope you get to go home this weekend. Hospitals have their good points, but being in one is the pits. I truly think the motivation for getting well is to escape them.

Your creativity is showing again Cindy! These cases are great!

Just an FYI, though not as pretty, SI's XL case can hold a couple of fully assembled 900/T3 combos and/or 1300/clearo combo... although the clearo might leak from the tip if carried upside down. ;)
