One yr Jeffers had a special on I think it was Safeguard dewormers by 10 or 15 and get a free halter. That was a good deal the halters are all very well made bet they were Hamilton halters. It was several yrs ago and those halters are still going strong. When you have as many horses as I do that was a win-win deal. Their Jeffer products are great too. I would love to go to their store they have a huge one and they have dog stuff to. My Rotts are tough on their toys, and finding collars for them that are sturdy was a chore until I found the Jeffers brand. VERY well made.

At another barn where I used to board Penny, I ordered the dewormers for the whole barn. Jeffers was so often the best deal that I stopped shopping around every time, and quite often, they'd send me a free gift as a surprise. One time it was a very drab-looking pair of riding gloves, but I'm still using those gloves. Other times it was T-shirts advertising Zimectrin, which I also still wear, though wearing a T-shirt advertising something to get rid of parasites is sorta weird, I know. Still, it's a T-shirt, and it works for going to the barn in summer. You must have guessed by now that I'm no fashion plate.

Its sad to say,but I have one shovel that I love. (Talk about OCD) The handle fits my hand perfectly, its balanced. I tell my husband that and he looks at me like I have gone off the deep end. I got ready to clean out my stalls and it wasn't where I keep it. I'd looked everywhere and couldn't find it,called everyone I knew. A month later and atleast 5 new shovels I finally found it in my husband's Bronco. That shovel now has my name on it.

One horse equipment catalog I get has barn stuff in pink so husbands won't steal it. At least, that's the theory. Maybe some husbands would take your pink shovel. Who knows?

Yes, but a while ago, someone said they saw her elsewhere on ECF, so I guess she came back but just not to here.

I stopped by Holly's profile to leave a message and noticed that her last post was dated 12/27... around the time of her last post here. No posts after that date. I hope she is ok......

Oh, I'm mistaken then. I thought someone had said they'd seen her post elsewhere. That put my fears to rest, but now I'm concerned. I wish there was some way to find out about her.

I have some of those T-shirts to that I wear. Atleast when they do give gifts its something useful and lasts forever. You can tell by my pic the last thing I worry about is fashion. Comfort is what I go for.

Oh NOooo!!!!!!!! Hubby is coming home from work early because he has a temp of over 100 and they are telling him he has the flu. I hate the flu.

The other day my lymph nodes mysteriously swelled up and then went back down again and I have felt fine ever since. He called me from work today saying he had his lymph nodes swollen up like I did the other day. I told him he would be fine since it only lasted for a half a day, whatever the mystery disease was. Boy, was I wrong.

Let's hope I don't get it, too. After all, someone has to make the soup and the toast and the jello.

Whisper and I had a good time at the dog park. One of her favorite pals, a beagle was there so she played with him and pranced around the park. She looked like she was a completely happy puppy today. Perhaps she knows spring is coming!

I pray he gets well soon and that you don't get sick.

I hope it's not the flu! Maybe it's just a 24hr thing and after some TLC, soup and Tylenol then going to bed will get him back on his feet quickly.

She looks so cute in that leather jacket and from the way she's looking at the camera... she knows it too.

No way am I EVER going to order an Oriental tobacco again. I have tried since Nov. to vape this stuff and the longer it steeps the worse it gets. Thank goodness it was just a sample. At first it vaped like perfume and now it vapes like rotten fish smells. I just trashed it, and I hope it didn't ruin my tank.

Gosh! What is the name of it so I can avoid that one.

Kicco I haven't tried the Vapor station. I thought I'd better wait to try others since I have found tobacco liquids I like just in case my tastes change again. I had a hard time finding my all day vapes so I don't want to "fix" what isn't broken. LOL
BTW your safe with Avon Skin So Soft,Listerine and Mineral Oil. Use the whole LARGE bottle of Skin So Soft, 1/2c of listerine and a couple of ounces of mineral oil that's to keep the other stuff from sweating off so fast.
No sweat! Just thought I'd mention it. Thanks for the spray info!

So, here I am again - back at page 2162! Behind as usual! Helped my bro at a job waaayyy outta town again yesterday.
Lucky me! I was able to find a Western store out in the middle of South Dakota! picked up 2 badly needed halters - saving almost $10 over the local store that didn't really have what I wanted!

Today spent the day in the wind hoping the weather would hold while we dug up the middle of the yard - seems a water line to the house broke. What a mess - learned some new words! (The kind that would make a sailor blush!) We ended up renting a jack hammer to go on a borrowed bobcat to break thru some of it. Happily the weather held off - about 12 hours later than original threats.
I had to chuckle - wishing to be cloned at times so I could hold a video camera. While my brother was trying to dig - every move of the levers controls the hoe simply slid the tractor around on the ice! The fun part came when I slipped on some of it - think I have sprained my ankle. I walked it off all day but tonight it is swollen and as I get quieter - it's getting stiffer. Will be interesting tomorrow I am sure! The kids have been fed a fresh bale and the core of the one that was almost gone was moved into the barn so they can eat inside - nice and dry if it does start out as rain during the night.

SANDYSU: thanks for the recipes for the flyspray! They all look good too!
I have many of the essential oils already!

Now to try catching up ...
