Yes, I'm getting ready. I could probably ride now, except that the weather is so iffy and the ground is often frozen, which isn't good for Penny's feet. I do have boots to use when the ground is hard, and they do soften the concussion some. I use them in summer when the ground gets dry and hard, and they do help, but in winter, I think the ground is really hard, and it's often frozen in lumps, too. So I'll wait. My biggest concern is if I can lift her saddle onto her back. I just have to get that right arm stronger. My range of motion would probably be OK for it, but I just can't raise my arm that high on its own, much less holding a saddle. I was thinking that with Penny's lameness and my arm, we are quite a pair!
