Sitting down, facing forward.
You've got a couple of years on me Wabbit, but I still need to be doing something all the time, preferably something that requires physical activity and mental activity. I have been doing some reading, Dead or Alive, American Sniper, No Easy Day, and now I'm struggling through 50 Shades. I thought 50 would be a "soft core porn" but it's just a bad romance novel. The only reason I'm reading it is my wife just read it. The sacrifices we make as husbands.....

I think I went to Lick Observatory once. It was out in California, I know, and I think it was a day trip from wherever we were living at the time in the Bay Area. We drove up that winding road, but the place was closed when we got there. Can you go at night and see the stars with a telescope? Do they have a museum or something? Or is it just a fun destination?

It is a working observatory. I've been past there a few times, but never stopped in.

One time two people me and a friend have beaten 11 of the most difficult players on the planet. 12 years olds.....
We filled them with holes LOL.

Yea, my 13 year old grandson beats the  out of me in most of his Xbox games, these youngsters are super fast with their thumbs

One of my very old, old games is my favorite Castle Wolfenstein and you may be able to download it for free it is so old. Great graphics for and old game, but loads of fun.

Just got back from the local market. I was looking for a part and the owner gave me a pile or parts for peanuts (a small mountain) and batteries to test LOL.

I know you are joking Debra :) I have no idea if i'm a pervert or not. Maybe if some girls try me out they can fill a form with details. :D

When I finally design the backyard, I would like to include a peony bed. So pretty and so many varieties.

Nice photo SandySu.

Have a great night everyone. Too tired to talk:)

See you in the morning for coffee.

Good morning, Lizzie. If you have peonies, remember that they need big black ants to flower. Those ants sometimes like to invade my house. A few ant traps set out in spring usually take care of them, but one year, it must have been prime weather for ants or something, because they were awful and got into anything not sealed tight. It might help to have your peonies far from your house. Ours is in a grass plot in the middle of the circular drive, and one side of the driveway is next to the house, if that helps you figure out the distance. I think you'd want them farther away than that, since ants do find the house from the distance our peony is.

The coffee is the left over crumbles from several different bags but pretty tasty anyway:)

I didn't realize that about the ants and the peonies. I was thinking about a spot about 60 feet or so from the house. I'll have to think about that. Linda has peonies and they are doing well at her house.

Almost freezing here at 34 degrees. The skies have cleared up. Plenty to do around the yard and I really should drive into town and do the big shopping. We shall see. That one is easy to put off when it is finally spring.

Sitting down, facing forward.
Well, I pulled the trigger and ordered a total of sixty feet of Kanthal, twenty feet each of three different gauges, and twenty feet of silica wick, ten feet each of 2mm and 3mm. Now, stalking the mail person, then seeing if my eyes and fingers can work together well enough to rebuild a few things.

I saw a "great", highly recommended, video the other day of a guy rebuilding a T3. As usual the accent made it hard to understand and the camera work was "wonderful". It was done in close-up, 1080P, with excellent focus on the rebuilders bitten off finger nails. All of the key parts of the rebuild somehow seemed to occur out of view of the camera. Why do people post stuff like that?

I may try to do a video of a rebuild after I get good at it and, if I do, will use a tripod and shoot from over my shoulder or above and behind my head so what is being done is visible from my viewpoint. The D3200 takes excellent 1080p video so I should be able to do it without a problem....assuming I confident enough about rebuilding anything.
