Good Morning Voties. Coffee is on but it'll be a couple of minutes before it is ready.

Roland and 1st officer - you are so bad:)

Yep, we are still missing the squirre[threadkiller]l, Basilor and reptlr. You know who else I would like to hear from is Tina. How is school going, Tina?

Dang cold outside again this morning like 24 degrees. Fortunately, Hubby was up early and got the wood stove fired up and it is toasty warm inside the house.

Why, oh why, didn't I do the dishes last night after dinner? Now I have to start the morning off by doing the dishes. Rats.

Hope it is nice today. Want to plant peas and move the strawberry plants but first Hubby has to rototil. Should be warming up to reasonable overnight lows this next week.

It's cold here, AGAIN! It has gotten up to 37 but when I walked Bo at 6 it was 29. It's nice having automatic setback thermostats but I'd rather be able to shut the heat down completely.

We always do the dishes right after a meal, or as soon as possible anyway. I hate dishes in the sink or in the drain board.

I've got to get out and get the garden going and finish cleaning up the mess that winter left in the yard. I raked about a 75 foot section along one side of the yard, against some fencing, and ended up with seven contractor sized bags of leaves...only another four or five hundred feet to go.

Gotta run out to the hardware store in search of either a small spring or a #2 machine or sheet metal screw to help someone with an adapter problem, then pick up bagels, they weren't ready when my wife stopped to get them earlier this morning.

Heading out myself, only to plant pansies at our church. Our little church group has a project each spring to plant flowers around the front of the church, normally right before Easter. Mrs. Wabbit and I bought pansies because I think other spring flowers might not hold up with this cold spring weather. I would also like to get out and rake, till the garden for the first time and get the seed bed at least partially ready to plant in May.

Good Morning Everyone and thanks for the coffee Lizzie! :)

I'm usually a cup a day coffee drinker but I'll have that second cup today because it's a balmy 35 degrees here but at least the sun's out.

It would be great to hear from Moon and Holly too.

Lizzie, you are so industrious with your yardwork but I can't seem to get in the mood for doing it, especially in the cold temps. I really need to start pruning my rose bushes and clearing out the flowerbeds. My motivator is warmer weather. At least I keep up with my house chores.

Hi gang, happy weekend! It's supposed to get up to 39 today, but it's only 30 at the moment. Last year at this time, which I think was a fluke, my hubby had his bikes on the road. Go away snow!!!

So, trying to take my mind off that, I was looking around Home Depot for new outlets with built in USB ports. Any of the guys (or gals) that know about such things think these are a good idea? Will the SI usb adapters be happy with these ports? http://www.homedepot.com/p/U-Socket...Charger-Ports-ACE-7169/203423602#.UU3Oo1d3eSo My hubby is a millwright, I don't ask him about things that don't install with a hammer! (long sad dishwasher story, too painful to write out) The good news is that I can now do lots of the fixes myself.

I just took a look and it does look like a great idea, but...there is no mention of the output voltage and current for the USB ports. I looked at a few reviews and one mentioned that it won't charge a specific Blackberry model but does charge other things. I suspect that the output current isn't particularly "robust" to the USB ports. Maybe try one and see. Keep us posted if you do 'cause it would reduce some clutter.

I'm off soon to do some grocery shopping. Tomorrow, I'll visit Penny, and if things seem right, I may try to ride a little. Meanwhile, to fend off the blahs waiting for a reluctant spring, here are some flowers.

I can't speak from personal experience with installation but I have a friend with these installed all over his house and he uses them to charge all their gadgets (iphones, ipads, android tablets).

Again, they don't mention the output capabilities of the USB ports and how plugging two in at a time might effect things. It does seem a little strange to me. This one seems to imply if you want to maintain charge times that you should use the standard wall wart that comes with the device which makes me think the output is a little on the low side.

From my own experience and measurements with Volt batteries, 78mms draw about 125ma and X2-650s draw about 200ma. Those measurements were taken using a 1.5amp wall wart from SI. It is entirely possible that the output voltage in these might drop as current draw goes up which would slow down charging. Most tablets and phones seem to use under one amp for charging, but the only way to know for sure if they'll work with e-cig accessories is to try one.

My worry is what the voltage output is. Is it 115v ac or the 12 volts dc.
