This thread is becoming like a Soap Opera. If it keeps going, we will have a lot of subscribers and maybe we can turn it into a paid thread.

Sex, animal cruelty, whips, free electric machines, beautiful pictures, lots of dogs, cats, and horses, joy and sadness, tears and laughs, foreign intrigue, unrequited love, just what he public wants. We even have a common thread among all of this everyone is an addict to a battery operated cigarette.

Back to the real world, I have to go grocery shopping this morning with Mrs. Wabbit. :( Except for loading groceries I am useless, I just follow her around the store like a lovesick puppy. At least I get some exercise.

Catch up with everyone later, for the continuing saga of the vaping and Restless.

Wabbit

If you want to be useful in the grocery store, why not offer to go get some items and return to her and the cart to drop them in. She may want to choose things like fruit and veggies, but you could get laundry detergent, canned goods, stuff like that. Having 2 people getting things to put in the cart will shorten the time spent in the store. Of course, this is easier if you go with a grocery list so you know what you need ahead of time. Also, if I don't have a list, I always forget something I really needed. I keep a list on the fridge and add stuff as I notice I'm running out, then just take it with me when I go shopping. As I put things in my cart, I cross them off the list. That way, I'm sure to get everything on the list.

Yea Sandy, I do help out, but this is not my favorite thing to do. Old grocery store recently closed and we are just getting to know where everything is at Giant, Wally Mart etc. Now we go to three different stores at different times. Another adventure in the continuing saga of the Chit Chat Vapers.

Konstantine, I think that kid in the video may have some control problems, just a guess.

Mrs. Awsum stopped at the grocery store yesterday and came home with a rib roast. Now, I'll cut it in half for two meals worth and cook I it on the grill. When we shop, together, we do tend to walk together, but usually one or the other will run off to get something, especially if one of us is stuck at the deli counter. We both hate shopping, any kind of shopping, but I have more patience when t comes to clothes shopping and usually pick out stuff for her to try on. She gets easily frustrated looking at clothes.

Funny, I don't mind grocery shopping. What I think I hate a lot more is vacuuming and scrubbing floors. I go grocery shopping at 4 different stores, too. Not usually in the same day, but there are things at one I can't get at another. For instance, the local grocery store has the bread we like, but the fruits and veggies aren't as good as at Wegmans down in Ithaca, and the prices at the local store are higher. However, time and gas is more economical to go just a few miles away rather than 15 or 20 to Wegmans. I try to combine long-distance shopping with some other errand down that way.

We woke this morning to see snow on the ground. It's still snowing, but it's supposed to go up to 45 today, so I guess it'll melt off the ground soon. I plan to go to the library for my first day of organizing the books in the children's section.

We do shop at a number of different grocery stores, some close, some not so close. We still buy our bulk stuff from Costco and that's a major trip when we go there. There's a Wegeman's in that same mall and we go there for some odd items nobody else has, quality being a key for those.

It's 47 here already with partly cloudy skies. I've got two loads of laundry done and one more to go. I've got to get outside, the yard needs major cleaning and the garden needs a layer of mulch and a tilling. Then slop the hogs, feed the cattle, cut the trees, dig the pool, build the addition and go to lunch LOL.

It's a toasty 45 degrees here and it rained!!!!! Yay! I don't remember seeing rain in the forecast but I'll take it. We would need a lot of rain to make a difference for my trees and shrubs but this little bit of rain will be so good for my rice grass. I'm afraid it will also be excellent for my weeds.

I fianlly got off my .... and started working on the front of the house. I am redoing the area from water sprayers to drip with flowers in barrels. I put down a thick layer of newspaper and covered that with landscape cloth but the landscape cloth has to be covered with rocks to keep it from deteriorating. I may go out and get some more rocks from the hills and bring them in today.

I'm thinking I should bake some bread.

I got a nice fire going in the wood stove to take the chill off the house. One more cup of coffee and some Cheerios and I will get moving!!!!

You have Aldi there? We have one in Ithaca, too. That's one of the stores on my itinerary. I sometimes go there and get what looks good, then go to Wegmans to get other stuff. Often their fruits and vegetables aren't as good as those at Wegmans, but milk is pretty much milk anywhere you go. That kind of thing. They also have cookies Bill & I like, home-baked style -- you know, softer than most packaged cookies. Lots of their stuff you can't guarantee you'll find again there, but often, it's cheaper than another grocery's.
