'morning/'evenin Deb! hmmmm, cat fight! Some people are just plain old ignorant, and won't let themselves learn or are so closed minded that they just don't want to hear. My money would have been on you!

A little better news, or possibly better anyway, the new T3 heads may fit the old style T3 bodies. Nothing solid, yet, but it sounds a little more hopeful than what I've gathered so far.

Had to visit the "vampire" this morning, first thing, for some blood work, I have a 20,000 mile maintenance scheduled in two weeks so I'm just getting to coffee and breakfast. After that I stopped at Lowes, nice shopping this early when no one is in the store other than staff, and picked up a new Bosch hammer drill. All I can say is WOW! I had to "test" it out right away, yeah I'm a little kid with a new tool (haha), and drilled a dozen holes in less time than it would have taken my old Skil to drill four holes. It's more like drilling in hard wood than drilling in concrete with this one. What a difference, but that Skil was a very early model hammer drill and the new one was, probably, cheaper in terms of "real" dollars!.

It's your choice, but I hate such confrontations and try to avoid them. You may feel they're worth it to be able to do what you want. It's all a matter of personality. I guess I'm the original wallflower. I like to keep a low profile.

Everything happens for a reason. The old one broke, prompting you to get a new one, and now your job will be easier. You had me laughing when you mentioned being a kid with a new tool!

I think Deb's approach -- to try to reason with her -- was the better choice, Kon. Maybe it didn't work, but violence is never an answer to a confrontation like that. It would have just escalated into a fight. Deb might have been hurt in the ensuing battle, and she'd be worse off for it. As it is, she's mad, but she's not physically hurt.

Beautiful! You do this? What do you use to make bobbin lace? A bobbin, I guess, but my only knowledge of a bobbin is what was in my mom's old treadle Singer sewing machine. Bobbin lace looks almost woven. Very lovely and interesting. How did you learn to do it? BTW, I think we all forgot to welcome you; we just jumped right in answering your posts, so welcome to the Chitchat thread.
