The one I bought was under a hundred dollars. The "fall back" Bulldog SDS is just under two hundred dollars. The advantage of the one I bought, for my purposes, is that it's a drill or a hammer drill. That gives me a half inch corded drill that I'll also need as this project progresses, lots of one inch holes to drill for PEX tubing and inch and a quarter holes for some copper plumbing. My battery drill, a Milwaukee 18 volt half inch, would certainly do that, but a corded drill has far more torque and the battery doesn't run down very often at all, LOL.
Plus it's a lot lighter and less bulky without having to lug the battery. I have a plug-in Ryobi - the very cheapest one. I think it was like $30 (12 years ago, still works), but does the job (my studio is a warehouse condo with concrete walls). Nice having the 1/2" chuck too. But mine doesn't do tiny 1/16" holes (tried it on cartos once). Bit's too skinny.

Good Morning Volties, Komodo Dragon coffee this morning.

Have to clean a house today, maybe stop by the grocery store for some apples.

We are going fishing tomorrow. We are taking the whole day off. I'm planning on us eating breakfast at Starbucks where we meet up with our fishing partners, a picnic lunch and Chinese food on the way home. No cooking and doing dishes for me. Yeah.

Then we have a whole list of things to get done on Sunday:)

Hey Deb - I have been doing Cinnamon Danish with some NY Cheesecake. It's pretty good.

hey white fluffy tail....hows the wabbit vape lab...going....?I made a brew today...a vanilla custard cinnamon Danish with a hint of toasted almond...smells yummy...had a little drip taste...its ok...so after steeping...could be a winner...;)

No vape lab today, the local TV station is coming today to interview Mrs. Wabbit on a cupcake maker device seen on TV to get an opinion. We have to keep the kitchen and house very clean so it looks good on TV. Can't have the world thinking our rabbit hole is a mess can we?

Your custard Danish whatever sounds good. If it turns out, please PM me the recipe.

That sounds exciting, to be on TV. How did it come about?

I have tried twice to explain, but it won't post. Third Try: Wife is friends with a local TV personality who ask her to test the Big Top Cupcake View attachment 203313. This is a local show called Delmarva Life, on at 5:00 PM in our local area. They do segments on those "As shown on TV" items. Her friend ask her to demo this and she agreed. I am going to stay out of the way if possible. The downside is that we had to clean the kitchen up A LOT. It is absolutely spotless. Just a lot of work.

Sitting down, facing forward.
Wabbit, you make me wish for the good old days. Back in the 70's and 80's I had a high gain VHF and UHF TV antenna array, separate antennas for each band, up at 60 feet with a rotator and high gain amplifiers for each band. They came into the house to a high gain distribution amplifier. I used to watch Baltimore TV, VHF and UHF whenever I wanted, and if conditions were good, could watch TV from Washington, DC, as well. Keep in mind I lived in Lakewood, NJ, at the time, about 10 miles west of Point Pleasant Inlet. I could have watched your TV segment without a problem!

Oh yeah, save us all some of those cupcakes!

TV shoot took all afternoon, and Roland, it was a test of this device that makes one giant cupcake. Mrs. Wabbit forgot to spray the silicone mold and the dough stuck to the mold pan. It was just one big laugh session. Cake tasted OK but looked like hell. Anyway, if you know anything about TV shoots, they shoot in segments then splice everything into a smooth presentation. She is going to bake another one using PAM on the silicone cake mold, decorate it and take it to the TV station to complete the whole show. We all had fun and that is what counts. Kitchen needs cleaning again, but that is life. We have no idea when this will ever get shown on TV.

Today I went to the barn intending to just groom Penny and let her eat grass, but the barn owner arrived while I was doing this and suggested we ride, so we went on the trail. It was my first trail ride since the accident, and it was totally uneventful. I dismounted by letting myself down onto the mounting block, thus avoiding another jerk to my shoulder.

Now I'm home, and I decided to have a bagel. I eat a lot of bagels, and every time I slice one in half, I worry that a slip of the knife could mean a trip to the emergency room, so recently, I bought this. Amazon.com: Larien White Bagel Biter (1500): Kitchen & Dining It arrived the other day, and I just sliced a bagel with it, and my oh my, is it convenient and safe! It slid right through the bagel, a nice, clean cut, unlike the rough surface I get when cutting one by hand, and it was done in a second. I recommend this, if you eat a lot of bagels and don't buy the pre-sliced ones. It was an onion bagel, so some pieces got inside, and I used a bottle brush and warm water to clean it out, ready for the next use. I read a review that suggested doing the slicing on a plate to contain the crumbs, but I forgot this till after the bagel was sliced. Yes, there were a few crumbs on the counter, so next time I'll do it on a plate. After all, when slicing bagels before, I did it over a plate, and there were a lot more crumbs.

Too tired to say much.

Good plan on the mounting block SandySu. And good for you for getting back in the saddle again.

Wabbit- Sounds like a good time was had by all.

Between digging up needle and thread grass for the goats dineer and cleaning a house, I am zonked. I still gotta get organized to go fishing tomorrow since we are leaving at O'dark thirty. Have a great night everyone.

Have fun fishing. Of course, we'll have to hear what you caught and how you cooked it.
