Chopperguys...disappeared with our mods?

I'm afraid I don't agree with Nebula on this completely. While we are a supportive community, we are just that, a community. Limiting this thread to just those affected is not the way to go. I also believe that the amount of people chiming in on this is what got things moving, and I'm glad to see it's making headway. I also believe that we should be supportive of his situation, even if we don't agree with how things were handled. If he makes things right, then all is well, and just don't do business with him again. At least he tried to make things right. But don't limit everybody else from speaking just because it might make him look bad. He's already done that to himself. I think keeping the conversation alive may actually help him in the future if things do turn out well after all is said and done.

In life I've been through hell and back and know what it does to you. Since the guy is owning the problem, once the items are returned he could be pretty sure of possible business from me.

Having had things go *really* sour from time to time I think owning the problem is a sign of character. Even when it was a big screw up.

I think some people will realize that this was one person running a one person hobby. Just as the first example that comes to my mind and probably not the best one. If a single person tries to use their skills to help others during tax time, and make a bit of money on the side gets overwhelmed with work, you expect that one person to do the same job as H&R block? *shrug*

Don't take a job or contract a job if you cant do it that way you don't get overwhelmed when that happens quality of your work can go Down however I think I smell a RIP OFF

I don't know if this helps anyone fill in the puzzle but I contacted Chopper on may 3rd and he said he could not do anything foer awhile. He didn't take my Provari. I am glad now because I would have freaked if he had it and didn't respond to me but he was not taking on more business at that point as far as I can tell.

Well it's fantastic to hear that things are slowly being sorted out. Better late than never right? Did seeing all those PV's lumped into bins together make anyone else's OCD kick in or is that just me. I'm not an agent of chaos, seeing that kind of clutter would drive me to the mad house!

Edit: Woah, how is he going to make sure each mod goes to it's respective owner. My Darwin might have a fresher battery than your Darwin. Dood, that's gonna suck.

Has anyone actually gotten their pv's or atty's back after this all happened? Has anyone verified he actually has them other then the pic?

Seems very odd ... Interested in finding out.

Contact the postal inspect service. Since he received your items by mail he had committed the Federal crime of using the mail to defraud or commit larceny.

Man, I really feel for all of you...last I checked this thread there was a reply that things were moving along and nothing was "lost", send-backs were starting, etc. Even with folks offering to help out with it all.

It looks like if someone was close to the address that you shipped your PV to you would knock on his door and ask for your pv back NICELY then take it from there something can be done I find when there been a mix up or what ever you want to call this when handled face to face it seems to work out much faster & better.

IN NO WAY AM I SAYING TO HURT OR HARM ANYONE OVER A PV AND OR $$$$$$$ BUT SENDING E-MAIL DOESN'T SEEM TO BE WORKING

I would contact that local police as well as postmaster where you sent your stuff and find out what your OPTIONS for filing complaints are, and let them direct you from there.

Mail fraud is a very serious business. If you've ever brought such a claim, then you know of what I speak. We're talking FEDERAL crime, people. Find out from the postmaster there exactly how to do this, based on NUMEROUS mailings arriving to this person, and being scammed.

And contact the local police, get their thoughts on how to proceed.

It's been 3 weeks since Chopper finally responded. From what we know, he hasn't returned one mod. He isn't responding to emails. Someone needs to file charges for mail fraud with the postmaster. Don't be fooled twice.

I don't have any mods that were ever sent to Chopper. I'm only a bystander.
