Sorry to bust your bubble, but the Bible says the earth is round in the book of Isaiah.

He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in. -- Isaiah 40:22

And in the book of Proverbs:

When he set up the heavens, I was there. When he traced the horizon on the surface of the ocean... -- Proverbs 8:27

Sorry to bust YOUR bubble - But -

A Circle is FLAT - A Sphere is ROUND - See how he puts a "tent" over it - That can't really be done on a Sphere - Tents go on flat ground -

And - the horizon was thought to be the edge - The idea of edges suggests flat -

"take the earth by the edges and shake the wicked out of it" (Job 38:12-13)


There are still folks today - believe it or not - Who think the Earth flat - The ancient Greeks knew it to be round - And biblical support can be found for both theories - As one would expect because there were those that believed both depending on the times and educational level of the people - Fact is there is very little in the Bible that makes the view clear - But then - The Bible is not a science book - to say the least -
