Snow round where I'm from This is one of the rarest for Christmas, and always makes it special when it happens!!!

(very similar to what my living room looked like growing up)
Every night on Christmas break from school, after my parents went to sleep, I used to lay on the couch in the dark living room with the tree lights on. I would lay there for hours and hours just watching the lights blink on the tree. Most nights I would fall asleep there. It is one of my favorite things to do at the holidays.

I get to spend more time with my slightly out-of-focus son and his girlfriend.

There is a neighborhood close to where I live where they all get together and decorate their houses.
The city puts up the lights on the tree-lined streets and it is like driving through a magical tunnel...

Christmas to me means giving. Not giving so that you can get, not giving out of obligation but truly giving of yourself, your time, your heart and of course giving gifts to those special to you and those in need.
