The FDA is the evil department! Don't get them confused with the one that can tax, but not ban. It's not the "ATF" anymore anyway. Just like the INS is now ICE (thanks to the millions of dollars spent on research and development by the Dept. of Cool Acronyms), it's now the Dept. of Alcohol, tobacco, Fire Arms, Caffeine and Sugar (the latter two having been declared non-food additives after heavy lobbying by Starbucks). Why should there be labels? That's just more government interference! The next thing you'll want is labels on matches.

But it was first renamed the AFTE - E for explosives and moved to the Dept of Homeland Security. This info is courtesy of fas.org - a very interesting site, mind you. I think I'm gonna bookmark it.

I thought it was one of those that tell you another smoker is in the area. Personally, I think the odor is enough of a giveaway.

You still have a sense of smell? You really are a newbie. Don't worry, "Smoker's Nose" is very common. After being a vaper for awhile when you switch to cigarettes it can take a couple of months for your senses of smell and taste to disappear.

OP, just buy the cigar. I wish I had listened when I first started smoking. I wasted a lot of money trying to get the same effect with cheap knock-offs, not understanding what all the hype was about.

And for those of you who want to go organic, well that block he is burning is tobacco, molasses and fruit called shisha. Yumm-o and just think how wonderful you will smell when your done.

ETA You can store your tobacco in the water for an extra flavor shot

Is there a "purse friendly" size for one of those? I don't want to call attention to myself when out in the wild...

You don't look as good smoking a cigar in those. Get a Lamborghini. It seems expensive now but it will last and you will look cool in it, and you won't keep replacing tires.

I just carry mine around on a suitcase with wheels, I don't mind if people stare, it gives me an excuse to educate them about my new hobby.

Sure, it'd be way cooler if your Virginia Slims are Lights. Especially when you visit NY, the Mayor will think you're weight conscious because you don't smoke the full flavored cigs. Make sure you order a Happy Meal too.

Duh! How is anybody looking at you going to tell it's a real one and not a cheap, knock-off fake if you don't have the tin to wave under their noses? From some flimsy cigar band that isn't even in English? Logic 101.
