I'm obviously preparing for the zombie-apocalypse. How long can you store them? And I wasn't clear on the steeping question/answer above.
Currently:
Shake the heck out of them, tapping the top side on the palm of my hand. Hard. Several times.
Unwrap the cellophane and open the top.
Store the pack in a cool place for a day to let it "air out".
Glue the cellophane back on.
Put it in the fridge, or sometimes just leave it in the cupboard. For a month.
Is that correct?![]()
When the grandchildren come to visit I make sure to leave a few open cartons lying around. After all, they learn by example.
RE: Storage. I keep mine in an old Anderson shelter covered in camouflage netting so that the fda will NEVER find my stash.
